Everybody have a great weekend!
Here's an update from a customer that bought the discovery 2 named Minecraft, he just sent in some check-in photos saying he is loving the vehicle and having a great fall in Maine! This is one of the greatest things about this job, helping people to be able to break the daily cycle and go for an adventure and do things they normally wouldn't do. Cheers to you & keep enjoying Mike!

What we believe to be an unmolested 1966 series IIA 88 Barn find will be coming to the shop to see if it runs after almost 25 years. Few little things will be sorted like a broken ubolt on the rear axle see if we can get this one back on the road and will eventually possibly be for sale. Stay tuned

1983 110 got towed in yesterday for an emergency service.
No start most likely a dead battery. Pretty nice example of an early coiler with an updated engine.

Who likes electricity? Who loves playing around with wiring harnesses? We do 😎

This is a fun job that throws me back to the '90s, when I was integrating fuel injection wiring harnesses into carbureted vehicles so seamlessly that they looked like the vehicle came from the factory that way. Those were fun days!

This 97 Nas Defender 90 came in from down south initially for wiring harness issues, the mice had attacked the wires as well as people had bypassed wires for some reason... something must have went wrong and they did not want to dig into the harness at that point in time.

Being a 97 it was a one-year wiring harness with a computer under the hood and the planet was searched for a wiring harness to no avail.

Either way it is time to totally rebuild this harness and that's exactly what we intend to do!

As we try to get the refresh process down for aluminum parts by changing up mediums, we've come to the realization we need a hot tank for the initial interior cleaning of burnt on oil and grease for the lt230 transfer case we're currently doing as well as heads, engine blocks, oil pans, bellhousing adapters and transmissions. So we're currently in search of the next piece of equipment to make sure we put out the best possible product.

This current project is 1997 NAS Defender 90 LT230 transfer case that was severely leaking and needs new bearings, stay tuned for the outcome!
