We were honored to stand and raise the American flag as the procession carrying fallen Central Berks Regional Police Officer Kristen Yeager made its journey through the community she so faithfully served.

As the flag waved over our head and the procession passed by it, time seemed to stand still. The flashing lights, the silence, the overwhelming show of support. It is a moment none of us will ever forget. In that moment, there were no strangers, no different uniforms, no different professions. There was simply a community grieving the loss of one of its own.

To Officer Yeager’s family, friends, and her brothers and sisters in blue, our hearts ache for you. No words can ease the pain of such a tremendous loss, but we pray that you find strength in the love surrounding you and comfort in the legacy she leaves behind. A legacy of service, sacrifice, courage, and commitment to others.

We hope our small tribute meant something, because Officer Yeager meant so much to this community. The sheer number of people who lined the route, stood at attention, and paid their respects speaks volumes about the impact she made during her time here.

The loss of someone who wears the badge is felt far beyond the walls of a police department. It ripples through families, first responders, friends, neighbors, and entire communities. Tonight, all of Berks County mourns together.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.” — Matthew 5:9

Thank you for your service, Officer Yeager. Thank you for the sacrifices you made that most will never fully understand. We will remember your name, honor your service, and never forget the price that was paid.

Rest easy, Officer Yeager. Your watch is over. 🇺🇸💙

They call it a Bug… but there’s nothing small about the pride behind this picture 🐞

We want all of you to know. This isn’t just a job to us.

It’s the way the wheels are polished before we ever leave the yard.
It’s the way the truck is kept, not because it has to be, but because it says something about who we are. This truck in particular is over 15 years old.
It’s the way every strap is tightened with intention… and the excess folded clean, never thrown aside.
It’s the way our winch cables are rolled up after each call.

That’s not luck.
That’s pride.
That’s discipline.
That’s caring about the details when nobody’s watching.

We don’t claim to know it all and we NEVER will.
But we show up every day with the drive to be better than we were yesterday.
To learn something new.
To sharpen our craft.
To push ourselves to our limits….because “good enough” has never been good enough around here.

Every call is a reflection of our name.
A name that carries the legacy of multiple generations and over 60 years of service. 60 years worth of trust built with returning customers, business fleets, emergency service providers, township, county, and state agencies.

On a beautiful day like today, it looks easy.
But what you don’t see is the years of experience, the standards we refuse to lower, and the mindset that separates average from exceptional.

So when your day goes sideways and you need someone to show up…
Don’t call the cheapest, the fastest, or the one who paid to boost their Google ads when you search tow companies.

Call the ones who take pride in doing it right… every single time.

Today, Savage L&B Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, RAM savagelb_ in Robesonia called on us for a tow that truly shows why we hand-pick our operators and keep our team small.

The vehicle was a 2025 Dodge Charger EV that could not be powered on or placed into neutral. To some, a tow is just a tow. To us, every vehicle requires a plan, the right equipment, and an operator who understands how to move it without causing damage.

Because this vehicle could not roll freely, our operator took the initiative to use a specialized nylon control arm bridle to safely connect the winch, along with skates to reduce friction between the tires and the asphalt while carefully dragging it onto the bed. Even with the airbags on the truck fully deflated, ground clearance was extremely tight.

The front bumper sat so low that it wanted to contact the bed, so the bridle’s protective fabric barriers were positioned between the bumper and the deck to help prevent scraping. Once the vehicle was about 75% loaded, the rear bumper became the next concern. At that point, our operator had to raise the bed with pressure on the tires and place wood blocks under the rear to keep the bumper off the ground. Unloading required the same level of precision and care.

This is exactly why experience matters. Modern vehicles, especially EVs, are not always straightforward, and improper handling can cause costly damage in seconds. We take pride in doing things the right way, even when the job is far from simple.

We would like to thank Savage L&B for their continued business and trust in our team. To all dealerships and customers, when you call Spitlers for your towing needs, you can count on the utmost care, consideration, and professionalism every step of the way. Making professional relationships with dealers and shops comes naturally in this line of work but maintaining them is what matters.
