Community Action Transit System - CATS Anyone in Pike County can ride, regardless of age or income. Call 740-835-8474 TODAY! CATS provides transportation services to the general public.

A city route is available to transport in Waverly, Monday through Friday 7am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 3pm. Price dependent on zone. CATS also provides transportation to Columbus once per week, Chillicothe and Portsmouth twice per month. Call for dates and pricing information. One infant/toddler integrated child seat per bus. Car seats welcome. All vehicles lift equipped. Assistance available to

assist with getting
wheelchairs to entrances. Door-to-Door

The Pike County Workforce Mobility Feasibility Study is a 12-month-long planning process that will evaluate the underlying demand and need for transit services and develop transit service options that best align with workforce mobility needs in Pike County. This study will create a detailed plan and approach for implementing future transit service, which is informed by feedback from CATS riders, CATS staff, and community organizations.

As an identified community stakeholder, we would like to invite you to participate in our final Technical Advisory Committee Meeting on July 14th, 9:30AM to 11:00AM. During this meeting, you will be asked to provide feedback on two draft service redesign options and help guide final recommendations.

The technical assistance for this project is funded through the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) with the support from transportation planning consultant team, Nelson\Nygaard.
