Steve L. (a.k.a. GoDadGo) and his Mk4 Roadster "Redbone" joined over 10,000 cars for the 30th Anniversary of Cruisin' The Coast along coastal Mississippi! The event featured daily cruises along US 90, and appearances from Dennis Gage, Courtney Hansen, Christy Lee, and Chris Jacobs.

Three new Factory Five builds are underway as customers from Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Canada came by to pick-up their kits this morning.

Matt K. from Zionville, PA loaded up his Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe as did Todd D. from West Bloomfield, MI with fellow FFR owner Marty H. Keith R. with his friend Jay came down from Ontario, Canada to load up his Mk5 Roadster build.

The week kicks off with customer Leo R. (left) from Emmaus, PA with his co-pilot Terry F. coming by Factory Five this morning to pick-up his Mk5 Roadster kit! Terry plans on building his Mk5 with a 5.0L Coyote engine, IRS, power steering, leather seats, wood steering wheel, and 17" Halibrand wheels. He is planning on painting the body pearl white with blue stripes and red pin stripes.

Factory Five customer Tony B. puts on a show with his '35 Hot Rod Truck and earns "Mayor's Pick" at River City Classics' Show N' Shine event!

"Burnt rubber sent plumes of smoke over Centre Street on Saturday as vehicles legally took to the street for High River’s annual burnout," wrote Jayden Steidl from HighRiverOnline.com in their recap of the event.

"The show was estimated around 1,200 vehicles of all ages, makes, and models," wrote Tony. "Judges selected their top 3, and then the mayor of High River chose the winner."

Ryan B. from East Coast Cobras in Hollis, NH graduated his Factory Five '35 Hot Rod Truck build that he calls the MACH 35e! He powered his '35 Truck with a Tesla Model 3 motor, and took about three and a half years to build the car working mostly on the weekends.

"There are 150 wires going through the center console, front to back," said Ryan. "Everything was done in-house except large powder coated items like the frame and battery box."

Ryan had a big unveil for his '35 Hot Rod Truck ‘MACH 35e’ over the summer with family and friends attending. He's been hitting the car show circuit like meeting up with the Factory Five crew at the Mass Cruiser's event in Foxboro, MA.

“This is a lifetime dream come true for me!” John exclaims as he shares the news of graduating his Mk4 Roadster build and attending his first car show with the completed car earlier this month.

John found a partially built Mk4 Roadster for sale back in November 2023. He took a trip to talk to the owner in Katy, TX, and was soon bringing it home for him to complete the assembly.

“I built a 454 Windsor Ford with Inglese 8 stack injection for it myself,” said John. “Installed it and got it to the running stage. My younger brother, his friend, and my son completed the body work (fantastic job done). Sent it out for paint dark shadow gray metallic with gray ghost stripes. It is now inspected, title applied for and being enjoyed.”

Congratulations John! We look forward to hearing about your continued adventures with your wife Etta and your Mk4 Roadster.

The Type 65 Coupe R is flying!

Brion says the Coupe is performing better than ever, the aero is dialed in, and the 363 is pulling strong. Yesterday, he hit 150+ MPH on the straights!
