Thomas B. from Bristol, CT picked-up his '35 Hot Rod Truck kit this morning! Tom is building his truck with a BluePrint Engines 383 Stroker, 700R4 transmission, full fenders, and smoothie wheels with half moon hub caps. He plans to do a red wrap for the body with black fenders.

Chris C. is getting close to graduating his Factory Five '33 Hot Rod! "Pictures just don't do it justice," said Chris. "Ken Pike did an amazing job on this paint! I still have a ways to go, but damn this looks good!"

Chris configured his Hot Rod to build with an LS engine, IRS, Platinum Gauges, spread rear exit exhaust, leather seats, chrome tilt steering column, electric steering, A/C kit, hard top, power windows, bike fenders, and Wilwood brakes.

Factory Five customer Peter D. from Pfafftown, NC and his son Scott started to put their Mk5 Roadster plans together early in Fall 2025. They submitted their order in mid-October 2025 with the kit arriving in mid-December and a goal of having the Mk5 featured at Scott’s wedding in June 2026.

“Well, the goal was to have the Mk5 Roadster ready for my son Scott’s wedding,” wrote Peter. “We made it!”

Congratulations Peter and Scott on graduating your Mk5 Roadster build! We’re so happy you two had fun building the car together, and it was able to part of Scott and Amanda’s wedding day.

I have been struggling all week to decide whether or not to fly out to Ohio for the 2026 London Cobra Show hosted by the great people of the Ohio Cobra Club. The event is exceptional in so many ways, and over the years has raised millions of dollars for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (my daughter Jenny has CF).

Challenges at Factory Five and a family wedding have tipped the scales so I've gotta sit this one out. I'm terribly sorry to dissapoint folks and not be there to support the show. Our guys Travis, Dave V. and driver Mark are there to represent and I sure hope everyone has a blast tomorrow on Main Street and later at the awards dinner! Fingers crossed for good weather!

Huge thanks to those of you who have supported us at the show all these years and have been there for Jenny since she was little. I owe you each a debt I can never repay. Have fun driving all those amazing cars and hanging out with the best people in the world.

Customer Rob M. from Suttons Bay, MI and his dad recently hit a major build milestone with the first start of their Mk4 Roadster!

“First start was a success!” wrote Rob on The Factory Five Forum. “Dad made it up and we had perfect weather. It fired up on the first try! SUCH A PROUD MOMENT!”

Rob is building his Mk4 Roadster complete kit with a 5.0L Coyote, TKO 600, 2018 IRS with 3.55 gears, manual steering, manual brakes, vintage gauges, swaybars, dual roll bar, and 17″ Halibrand wheels. The color is to be determined, but there maybe front runners in mind.
