What a night! Factory Five Night with the Mass Cruisers at Patriot Place didn’t disappoint!

We had Mk4s, 289s, an 818, XTFs, and a ’35 Hot Rod Truck in attendance, and Bill and Ryan B.’s all-electric ’35 stole the show! Ryan was controlling the suspension from his phone, with several computers working behind the scenes. An incredible father-son build!

It was also great catching up with customers like Dave W. and hearing about his cross-country adventures with pro-builder Ron E. and trip to the Tail of the Dragon.

A huge thanks to everyone who came out, and to our Factory Five crew Jake, Jon, Adrianna, Jacob, Bobby, Taylor, Kyle, Owen, and Nicole for representing! The rain waited until the very end, and we couldn’t have asked for a better night.

Jason O. and his sons Gavin and Connor picked up their Factory Five Mk5 Roadster kit this morning! Team member Jake gave them a tour of the shop before helping them load their new kit onto their trailer.

Jason, Gavin, and Connor are building their Mk5 with IRS, 18" bronze sunburst wheels, and a Gen 3 Viper engine! They also plan on painting the Roadster orange with black stripes.

Congratulations on starting your new project. We look forward to hearing updates on your father-son build!

"The Mk4 is now drivable, and my daughter and her family joined me for our first car show with it," Factory Five customer Kie H. shared in a recent email. "Even though it is not completely finished, it still drew a lot of attention. I can't wait for next year's event when it will be fully painted."

Customer Peter M. came by with his friends Rob and Peter to pick up his new Mk5 Roadster kit! "These boys know how to cruise the boulevard!" wrote Steve "Go Dad Go" L. the other day as he shared this photo of his car crazy grandsons - Matthew (age 4) and Andrew (age 2). They love going to car shows with their Gramps Go-Dad in their beloved Redbone Roadster.

The team is heading to Oshkosh, WI! Dave Smith talks with Scott "Honey Badger Bell", Travis, Dave V., and Dan about Factory Five's display at EAA's 2026 Airventure show including our 30th Anniversary Mk5 Roadster and Type 65 Coupe, the "Shifting Gears" '35 Hot Rod Truck, and our famous '33 Hot Rod half mobile. Get a look into the finale of this year's Winners Circle Project as the schools put their Factory Five builds to the test at Lime Rock Park.

Next week, on July 23rd, four of the school's Mk5 Roadster builds will be going across the block at the Mecum Auctions in Harrisburg: Roy Ketcham High School, John J High School, FDR High School, and Dover High School (lots Lots number T96, T97, T98, T99.).
