New Atlantic tarpon regulations take effect June 1, 2026, in Virginia waters.

Recreational possession is prohibited, and any Atlantic tarpon caught must remain in the water. The regulation also prohibits gaffing or spearing, requires circle hooks when fishing with bait, and prohibits commercial harvest, landing, possession, sale, barter, or trade.

We are seeing a lot of sheepshead citations being brought by the shop and plenty more pictures being sent in🤙

Fiddler crabs are back in stock, so if you’re heading out to target sheepshead, swing by the shop and pick em up! 🦀🔥

Even with the weather being on and off, the guys getting out there are still getting it done! The bite around the CBBT has been solid, and those sheep have definitely been chewing.

Plenty of red drum, black drum, and some quality sheepshead coming from around the tunnel lately! The fishing has really been heating up, and we’re finally starting to see those drum slowly but surely moving into the area 🐟

Things are lining up for a fun stretch of fishing ahead. Come by, get rigged up, and send us your catches to be featured on the page and in our weekly fishing report!🤙💯

While some people are asleep… others are out there chasing giants 🌙🦈

Solid shark hit the sand for this angler after putting in the time and grinding through the late hours. Just goes to show, some of the best bites happen when most people are already in bed 💪🌊

Black Sea Bass season is OPEN and the bite has been absolutely on fire 🔥🐟

Boats have been coming by the dock with some quality sea bass and we have gotten report of a few drum mixed in here and there👀 When they aren't hitting inshore, try getting out in the bay as there has been plenty of reports from out there! 💪

Swing by and get rigged up with bait, tackle, and everything you need before heading out 🎣

Sheepshead are starting to show up around the bay and the reports have been getting better by the day 🐑🎣

The sheep have been chewing on sand fleas and small chunks of blue crab. We’ve got what you need ready to go before you hit the water 🦀 In case you missed it, we already had the first sheepshead citation of the year brought through the shop last week… and man was that thing a STUD 🔥

Get out there, get on them, and bring your fish by the scales after! We’d love to feature more local catches on the website and socials 📸
