Rotten transom rebuild for this Steiger craft. The customer’s moisture meter reading said she was fine, which is why it’s so important to look for other signs of water intrusion anytime you’re looking at buying yourself a boat! If you do find yourself in a spot like this, don’t panic, it’s all fixable.

Last paint job that rolled out of the door! We did some repairs and prettied her up a bit and primed and painted this 43’ intrepid with .

Cockpit face lift on a 35’ Calyber - We pulled the teak deck, swapped to nonskid, stripped and varnished the toe rail. Cleaned up nice!

Swipe to see before we got the boat stretcher out. We extended this bottom on this old Hudson, built our bracket in, and converted from I/O to a new outboard. We did several repairs, painted the hull and got rid of the engine box for a flush deck. Came out sweet, cool project.

Capps Boatworks is hiring. We are seeking someone with some experience inside of a shop to help us with our refinish and repair jobs, but experience is not required. Come to the office to fill out an application at 2102 W Great Neck rd in Virginia Beach.
