another system heading our way.
ANOTHER BIG SEVERE WEATHER DAY; STRONG TORNADOES POSSIBLE🌪️‼ - Tuesday afternoon into the overnight hours.
A bi-modal Severe Weather Event/Outbreak could be shaping up for Tuesday across the Southern Plains and stretching all the way into the Midwest. All hazards have been highlighted as possible, including the risk for more tornadoes (some could be Strong EF-2 Strength)🌪️
🔴MIDWESTERN US: A "Level 3 " Enhanced Risk exists in this region along a warm-front and surface low triple point that could be setting up across Eastern Iowa/Missouri and into Illinois. Very high CAPE values for this time of the year could add significant fuel for supercell thunderstorms to have an explosive nature. With added spin along the warm front. This area needs to be watched closely, but there is still quite a bit of uncertainty on how models are handling the mode of storms. A discrete supercell threat would be "Worst Case Scenario" with a STRONG TORNADO RISK🌪️ & BASEBALL-SIZED HAIL⚾️
🔴SOUTHERN PLAINS: SPC has a little bit of a lesser threat for severe storms across this area for now (though that could change as confidence may increase) for all modes of severe storms that will exist across Oklahoma, Texas, and Missouri. This area will see a more messy mode of storms with clusters and supercells that could pose more of a Wind/Hail Risk, with a risk for a tornado or two possible.
⚠️SEVERE THREAT WILL CONTINUE INTO THE NIGHTTIME HOURS!! Have a Plan, DO NOT SLEEP NAKED (This means, have closed-toed shoes by the bed, be ready to MOVE when a warning is issued)
