IT’S CALLED TEAMWORK – A prior customer came in, only to find that his usual representative was away. Just like family, another sales professional stepped up. The project involved getting a ’69 Dodge Dart up to speed to give to the customer’s son. With the same sense of family and attention to detail, we put together a great system consisting of Kicker LX amps, AudioControl speakers and a Sony radio in an under-dash kit. Our skilled install tech did a great job on the kick panel and back-package-tray speakers. We had this Dart pounding with a pair of Kicker CompQ 10 subwoofers! ROCKIN’ THE DUNES – The owner of a Polaris Pro RZR came in with a factory-stock sound system. This is his second RZR, and the owner called the current system “very underwhelming,” complaining that it distorted when turned up. He asked about adding additional speakers and an amp to bring up the total volume and clarity. Because we work on a lot of similar toys, knew exactly what to add to really bring this Polaris to life. We installed the AudioControl ACX300.4 UTV amplifier to deliver clean power and linked it to two pairs of Kicker 45KM654L marine speakers. We installed one pair in a door pod that was made by SSV Works and installed the second pair in 6.5-inch cage pods that mount to the roll bar. Upon completion our customer said this is exactly what he was looking for. He left excited to hit the trails and let everyone hear what a RZR should sound like. The owner of a 2006 Chevy Silverado came into our North Tucson location wanting us to install some LED light bars he had acquired. We’re always happy to perform this kind of service for our customers, During the installation, we noticed he had a great sounding system but didn't have a subwoofer and was lacking on the bass end. In total agreement, the truck owner also felt his car audio system was missing something. So we set him up with two sets of Kicker 43TCWRT102 pre-loaded 10-inch boxes with passive radiators and an 1800-watt Kicker amp to push them. The CompRT thin profile 10-inch subwoofer enclosures were perfect for this truck application. They come loaded with a Reflex subwoofer and RT sub, in a carpeted enclosure with a mounting depth under seven inches. These subs easily fit under a seat, behind a bench or in the corner of a trunk with plenty of room to spare. A customer came in with a 2008 Toyota Camry looking to upgrade his car audio system.
