UVeye The global standard of vehicle inspection based on AI & deep learning In 2019, Toyota Tsusho and Volvo headlined a $31M Series B, joining W.R.

UVeye is a computer vision tech company that develops automated inspection systems for vehicles, powered by artificial intelligence and proprietary hardware. Founded in 2016 by Amir and Ohad Hever, our systems have been installed at 100+ sites, including vehicle manufacturers, dealerships, fleet companies, logistical centers, energy, financial, diplomatic, and other sensitive security facilities.

Berkley and F.I.T Ventures. In 2021, UVeye secured its Series C round from strategic investors like CarMax and Hyundai Motors, bringing UVeye to a grand total of over $90M in investment capital. As of March 2022, Volvo announced an expansion to their partnership with a long-term program aiming to install UVeye devices in all of its North American dealerships. Each day we are making an impact with technology by harnessing the power of AI to detect vehicle issues or security-related threats in the undercarriage before they cause fatalities. Our mission, every day, is to raise the standard of vehicle inspections to help create better mobility and safer roads.

Proof beats persuasion.

At Carl Black of Orlando, UVeye helped the team bring more clarity into customer conversations by showing real-time visual proof of vehicle condition.

“The biggest impact of the UVeye system is the credibility and trust it creates instantly with the customer.”

When the customer can see exactly what the advisor is talking about, the conversation changes.

Service advisors are often asked to explain something the customer cannot easily see.

That is where trust can start to break down.

A recommendation may be completely valid, but when the explanation is only verbal, the conversation can quickly feel subjective. That creates friction for advisors, technicians, and customers alike.

Visual proof changes the dynamic.

When customers can clearly see tire condition, underbody findings, exterior damage, or severity, the conversation becomes less about persuasion and more about clarity. That helps front-line teams communicate with more confidence and gives customers a clearer understanding of their vehicle’s condition.

Our latest blog explores why visual evidence can lead to better service conversations, faster approvals, and more consistent experiences across the service lane.

UVeye doesn't just enhance your service lane. It elevates the way it looks and feels.

A modern inspection experience creates a stronger first impression for customers while helping dealerships bring more consistency, transparency, and technology into the check-in process.

Because the service lane is often the first thing customers see and advanced technology should look as advanced as it performs.

We’re incredibly proud of the student team mentored by UVeye for winning the “Best Project” award at Atlas Juniors!

Atlas Juniors connects talented high school students from Israel’s periphery with the high-tech ecosystem, giving them an opportunity to learn, build, and bring new ideas to life.

As part of the program, UVeye mentors worked with the students as they developed UVrover, a smart autonomous robotic vehicle designed for vehicle inspection.

This win is especially meaningful as it comes one year after UVeye received the Atlas Award for Innovation. Seeing these students continue that legacy with their own creativity, hard work, and technical talent is something we are proud to celebrate.

Huge congratulations to the students and to the UVeye mentors who supported them along the way.

Would this make you trust your dealership more?

For a lot of drivers, the difference is simple: when they can actually see what the inspection found, the recommendation feels clearer, easier to understand, and easier to trust.

Visual vehicle inspections help turn the conversation from “just take our word for it” into something drivers can review for themselves.

Less guessing.
More transparency.
More confidence in what your car actually needs.

When every vehicle is inspected through the same objective process, teams spend less time guessing and more time acting on clear information.

At Austin Subaru UVeye has helped standardize inspection data across service and sales, supporting stronger appraisals, clearer customer conversations, and a more efficient workflow.

“𝙒𝙚’𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤 𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙜𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜. 𝙒𝙚’𝙧𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙖, 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚.”

That is the power of visual proof in the dealership.

First time seeing an AI vehicle inspection in action?

When drivers can see the condition of their vehicle for themselves, the inspection feels less like a mystery and more like a clear, visual conversation.

Austin Subaru was already operating at high volume. The challenge was making inspections faster, more consistent, and easier for both advisors and customers to trust.

After implementing UVeye, Austin Subaru used automated vehicle inspections across service, trade-ins, and pre-owned workflows to create a more standardized process from check-in to appraisal.

The results tell the story:
• 150 more service capacity per day
• 2-7 minutes saved per vehicle
• $10K+ damage exposure prevented in the first 3 months
• $1,500 average saved per used vehicle

For Austin Subaru the biggest shift was not just speed. It was confidence. Every vehicle is inspected the same way, every time, giving teams clearer data and customers stronger visual proof.

Today at NCM Associates Fuel the Future: Transparency: "The Engine of Automotive Profitability."

Jim Boehnlein, Regional Sales Director at UVeye, will lead a session at 9:45am CDT focused on one of the biggest shifts happening in automotive retail: using objective, visual inspection data to create more transparent and profitable customer experiences.

For dealerships, transparency is not just about showing more information. It is about giving advisors, managers, and customers a clearer way to understand vehicle condition and act with confidence.

See you in Kansas City!

CTech recently sat down with UVeye’s Yaron Saghiv to discuss how automated vehicle inspections are creating what he calls a “layer of truth for mobility.”

From dealerships and service lanes to fleets and manufacturers, every scan helps turn vehicle condition into clear, objective data. That means less guessing, more transparency, and a stronger foundation for the future of predictive maintenance.

As Yaron shared in the interview, UVeye’s systems are already deployed in more than 1,000 locations globally, capturing millions of scans and helping teams identify issues in seconds.
