On the lift today: a radiator replacement on this GMC.

Those gauges hooked up up front are part of the process. On many vehicles the A/C condenser sits right in front of the radiator, so we safely recover the refrigerant first and recharge the system when the job’s done. Doing it the right way means no shortcuts and no surprises later.

What’s an EVAP leak, and why is your check engine light on?

This Mazda came in with a check engine light, and we’re running EVAP leak testing to track down the cause.

Your car’s EVAP system traps fuel vapors so they don’t escape into the air. When there’s a leak anywhere in it, the check engine light comes on. Sometimes it’s as simple as a loose or worn gas cap. Other times it’s a cracked hose or a bad valve. The only way to know is to test it, not guess.

- Repair brake and steering systems.

- Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems.

- Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed.

- Repair cooling components and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling.

- Perform emissions inspections, safety checks, and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations.

- Maintain a clean, safe working environment.

- Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed.

- Possess a valid state driver’s license for conducting test drives.
