New photos, same people, and apparently the same struggle to get everyone looking at the camera.

We recently rounded up the McCabe’s crew for some updated team photos, and honestly, getting everyone together might have been the hardest part. These are the faces behind the phones, inspections, diagnostics, repairs, coffee runs, and plenty of laughs in between.

What do gardening and auto repair have in common? Patience, attention to detail, and knowing what to look for.

Clay has spent his entire adult life in automotive and has been with McCabe's Automotive for more than a year. A Tacoma local, he knows his way around vehicles, but outside the shop, you are more likely to find him in the garden.

That same attention to detail comes in handy when a vehicle does not show obvious signs of a problem. A routine inspection can uncover worn components, leaks, or other concerns before they become bigger headaches.

After all, your car does not always tell you something is wrong. Sometimes, you need someone who knows what to look for.

Ashley and Alysa are part of the team that helps make those conversations easier, especially when customers are trying to figure out what their vehicle actually needs and when it needs it.

Some of the hardest problems are the ones you cannot see.

That is where a good technician's experience really matters.

Jeff has been in the automotive industry for 12 years, including the last two at McCabe's Automotive. Growing up working on things, he developed an early appreciation for figuring out how things work. Today, that same curiosity follows him into the shop.

So, what happens when a car comes in with a problem you can't immediately see?

It takes more than a quick look. Technicians may inspect the vehicle, run tests, follow the symptoms, and work through the possibilities until they find the root cause. That is where experience, patience, and problem-solving come together.

For Jeff, figuring things out is not just part of the job. It is something he genuinely enjoys.
