This thing from a 2004 Prius was on passenger side front frame rail. I thought it was an heavy weight to compensate for the hot water tank on the drivers side but it’s also rubber inside so it’s some kind of vibration absorber or something

6+K miles on 2.4 Kia engine with replaced rod bearing on cylinder 4. Runs good, oil change & oil pan removal & inspection seemingly showed good results... here's to another 6K & hoping it stays the same.🤗

At what point do you call a kia/hyundai 2.4 with a replaced rod bearing good? After 3K miles? After you drop the oil pan and check for gold dust? I think I'll do the second at some point, plus I need to reseal that oil pan anyhow.
