One cracked roof seal can ruin your RV faster than almost anything else.

Here's the thing about RV roof leaks — they're silent. The water seeps in behind the wall panels. Saturates the wood frame. By the time you see a stain on the ceiling, you're looking at a gut job.

What to check:
→ Every seam around vents, AC units, and antennas
→ Seals along the front and rear cap
→ Any area where two materials meet

Lap sealant degrades in 2-4 years. If yours hasn't been touched since you bought the rig — it's due.

Overcharged for simple fixes. Told their repair would take 6 weeks when it needed 2 days. Made to feel like they didn't know enough to push back.

You're back. The trip was great. Now — before you park it for two weeks and forget about it — do a quick once-over.

After every trip, check:
→ Any new sounds or vibrations you noticed on the road?
→ Did the slide feel slower than usual?
→ Any new stains on the ceiling or walls?
→ Tire pressure — especially after highway miles in the heat
→ Awning — did it retract fully and cleanly?

Small things caught now = small fixes.

Here's what that means for your summer:

Recently we had a family come through St. Louis and hit a parking garage knocking off their antenna.

We got them secured and on the road so they could head out west to Cali!

Wally's parking lot is always our go to when meeting people passing through.

There's a version of this summer where everything works.

The AC hums when it's 94 degrees outside. The slide glides open. The awning unfurls without a fight. Dinner smells like campfire and the kids are already asleep.
