☀️ Protect the Awning = Protect Your Vacation! 🚐

Your RV's awning is a great place to relax, enjoy your campsite, and stay out of the sun—but it also requires a little extra care. Following these simple rules helps prevent damage and keeps our RVs ready for the next adventure.

Here are a few important reminders:

✅ Always remove the Velcro straps before extending the awning.

🌬️ Never leave the awning unattended or out overnight. Even a light breeze can quickly turn into strong winds that can cause expensive damage.

🚪 When opening the awning, make sure the support arms won't interfere with the entry door. Double-check the arm position before opening the door fully.

🧼 If the inside of the awning gets dirty, please clean it before rolling it back up. Dirt, sap, leaves, and debris can stain the fabric and cause mold or mildew if stored wet or dirty.

A little extra care goes a long way in keeping our RVs in excellent condition for every renter. Thank you for treating our RV like it's your own—we truly appreciate it!

🚐 5 Things Every RV Driver Should Know Before Hitting the Road

Driving an RV is easier than you might think—but it is different than driving your everyday vehicle. Taking a few extra precautions will help keep you, your passengers, and our RV safe throughout your adventure.

Here are our top 5 reminders:

📏 Know Your RV's Height
Be aware of low bridges, parking garages, drive-thrus, tree branches, and other overhead obstacles.

🚛 Keep It at 65 MPH or Less
Our recommendation is to stay at or below 65 MPH. On the highway, be sure to follow all TRUCKS signs, as they often apply to larger vehicles like RVs.

🛣️ Prepay Tolls When Possible
If your route includes toll roads or bridges, prepaying online can help you avoid additional fees, delays, or mailed toll invoices.

🪞 Use Your Mirrors Constantly
Take a few minutes before leaving to adjust your mirrors and get comfortable with your blind spots. Your mirrors are your best friend when driving an RV!

🚦 Leave Plenty of Space
RVs take longer to stop and need extra room to turn. Leave a larger following distance, take wider turns, and never rush. A slower, more relaxed drive makes for a much safer trip.
