All in all September was a triumphant month of what we do best--people going fast, having fun and bonding over cars. Over Labor Day weekend we had funky and creative $500 racing cars decorated to entertain and make people smile for 24 Hours of Lemons. The following weekend we had a healthy turnout for the HPDE event Summer Track Days. Despite the rain--which sadly forced us to cancel Sunday's activities--we had crazy fast karts doing 1:30s in competitive racing! This was part of our new go-kart group, the Dart Kart Club, who came all the way from Ohio on September 18 - 20 for the very first time. The month ended with a stellar Sportbike Track Time Bike night and a groovy Trackilicious event that had a cool car show on Sunday that drew lots of car enthusiasts.
On September 14th, 2026 our long-standing, premiere racing school CGI Motorsports had their day. To those of you who don't know, and many of you already do, CGI has been coming to the GingerMan forever, well actually since 1997, but that's close to forever in my book. They are and have always been a staple, a tradition, a pillar of what we do here. Laid-back, safe, super-friendly, it's always a wonderful event with a great roster of coaches/characters--Brad Pines, Bob Ashley, Chris Post, Hollie Heiser, Anish Ramrakhyani. A big shout out to Phil Mirenda who created CGI and has been a great champion, ally and customer of the GingerMan and Dan Schnitta. If you haven't been to CGI this year they have one more event on October 5th--so make sure to go!
Sadly we are nearing the end of the season, but we're not close to being done! On Oct. 2 - 4 we have NASA for a record-breaking third time this season and from the creators of GRIDLIFE we got a C***r Pumpkin Hootenanny Track Day Picnic! A fun, family-friendly HPDE event with c***r mill vibes, hay-rides, leaves changing colors. All the stuff you want for a great autumn GingerMan day, through and through.
October 17 - 18 we got another Summer Track Days event, with Sunday being super special as it will be a women's only day! There will be specific sponsors, vendors and activities geared towards women! Ladies, come on out!
Finishing out the year we got our End of the Season Open Track Weekend on Oct. 24 - 25. But...weather permitting we're still not finished...as we have a surprise Slidewayz Drift event on November 7 - 8! They were here in April and it was a blast and we're excited to have them back.
