One of the easiest ways to improve road safety is maintaining a safe following distance. The recommended rule is at least 3 seconds behind the vehicle in front of you, with additional distance during rain, heavy traffic, or poor visibility.
A little extra space can give you more time to react and help reduce the risk of accidents.
