VTCompressorDoctor Air Compressor Sales, Service, Parts, Assesments Our goal is to provide you with the knowledge to make informed decisions on your compressed air systems.

Reynolds Compressed Air Division was formed in 1972 to meet the increased need for air compressor expertise, products and service in the State of Vermont. Fred Seel, the owner of Reynolds, had extensive knowledge of compressed air having come from the engineering department of Worthington Corp. He helped design and market the Monorotor Air compressor, the first commercially produced rotary vane co

mpressor. His goal was to be a technical source for our customers, and through our knowledge and expertise, become the compressed air solution provider for our customer base. Many things have changed in the last 34 years, but the commitment to providing knowledgeable people to help our customers solve their compressed air problems has not. As the premier air compressor provider in Vermont, Reynolds and Son, Inc has trained technical sales professionals to help you understand your system, the tools necessary to analyze you air demand and energy profiles, and the resources of quality suppliers to fit the correct product to improve your compressed air system reliability, stability, and to reduce energy costs. We also have trained service personnel and parts inventory to make sure your investment keeps running at peak efficiency and reliability for many years. Reynolds Compressed Air Division provides the following services:

Steve Rupp here, as the hot weather is upon us please remember to keep an eye on your temperature gauges on your compressors AND your dryers! Higher humidity means your dryer is working extra hard to keep water out of your air lines. Overheating? Try these tips and suggestions:
-Make sure to keep your coolers and condensers clean on dryers and compressors, we clean these out during service, but during hot humid days this should be a weekly maintenance duty. Dirty coolers prevent proper air flow, increasing your temps!
-Make sure your compressor has enough oil in it- all compressors pass some oil downstream over time (a very tiny amount, if working properly) and could affect your oil level if you haven't checked it lately.
-Check to make sure your exhaust is not restricted or recirculating into the intake, improper air flow leaving the compressor or recirculating hot air will both crank up temperature. You can try removing any duct work leaving the compressor to see if that makes a difference, and reinstall if it has no effect.

Still having problems? Give us a call, and we'll be happy to offer more advice and troubleshooting!
