⚠️ A $150 part can sometimes lead to a $5,000 repair bill.
This 2017 Ford F-250 came into our shop with a massive engine oil leak. The culprit? A failed crankcase filter that caused excessive crankcase pressure, leading to the upper oil pan gasket failure.
The result was engine oil covering hoses, wiring harnesses, and multiple engine components—creating a messy situation that could have led to much more extensive damage if ignored.
🔧 Our team identified the root cause, repaired the oil leak correctly, and prevented further damage to the engine and surrounding systems.
Don't ignore oil leaks, warning lights, or maintenance items that seem minor. Small components often play a big role in protecting your engine.
📍 If your diesel truck is leaking oil or showing signs of excessive crankcase pressure, let the experts at Phase 2 Automotive diagnose it before it becomes a major repair.
