By far some of the best fall fishing I’ve seen since I’ve owned the business! Sunday was our last trip of the year for the Big Boat! I believe we landed nearly 40 fish in 5 1/2 hours. Mostly lake trout with a few salmon in the mix. Our 21 foot boat will continue doing trips into the fall and even winter.

Lake Champlain is very fishy right now! Another beautiful landlocked Atlantic salmon taken this morning! Along with one short one. The lake trout are as mad as they get! Double and triple hook ups are steady. The casting and jigging boat has been picking away at bass and pike the last couple trips out! The weather out look isn’t great. But If there’s a will there’s a way. We are down to the final 5 days for the large boats. The 21 foot boat will continue on until the lake ices up!

When the ice gets safe enough to venture out, we will be guiding ice fishing charters!

What a day! Our morning crew locked onto a beautiful landlocked Atlantic salmon! 25 inches long 6lbs and a little on the wild side! The lake trout didn’t disappoint either! Lots of double and triple hook ups.

Our guests today came from Maryland! To enjoy a morning of fishing on Lake Champlain. They had a fruitful trip with many lake trout landed, with a couple of short salmon mixed in!

The bite today was far better than we could have ever imagined! 50+ fish and six hours to the net. Also 4 different species. The fall foliage is here and the fishing is great.

We had a nice change of pace today! Got after them Lake Champlain yellow perch! You now your having a good day when your throwing back 9-10 inch perch so the cleaning is a little quicker at the end of the day!

Fishing on lake Champlain has been amazing for September! Let’s keep the rods bent and the reels busy in October. We still have some openings.
