It doesn’t matter what brand is on your tank, if you’re on two wheels, safety should always be your no. 1 priority.
It’s definitely ours!
With rainy season gracing us with it’s presence, it’s important to take a few extra minutes to make sure your motorcycle is ready before you head out. Rain can quickly change road conditions, reduce visibility, and make stopping and handling more challenging.
Before you hit the road, take a few minutes to check these important items:
✅ Tire tread depth — Make sure your tires have adequate tread to help move water away from the contact patch.
✅ Tire pressure — Check your pressure when the tires are cold and make sure they’re set to the manufacturer’s recommended specifications.
✅ Brake pads — Make sure you have plenty of pad material remaining.
✅ Brake feel — Your brakes should feel firm and consistent. If something feels different, don’t ignore it.
✅ Lighting — Check your headlights, brake light, turn signals, and running lights. Being able to see and be seen is especially important in the rain.
✅ Electrical/electronic systems — Make sure everything is operating properly before you ride.
✅ Visors & visibility — If your helmet visor or eyewear is dirty, scratched, or difficult to see through, take care of it before you ride.
✅ Controls & cables — Make sure your throttle, clutch, and other controls operate smoothly and properly.
A few minutes of checking your motorcycle before a ride can make a big difference when the weather changes.
As always, we’re here to help with anything you need!
Ride smart. Ride prepared. And most importantly, ride safe. ✌🏼
