This brand-new BMW M340i came to Fantastic Customs almost immediately after delivery for our New Car Package—and this is exactly how we love to see them.

Before the rock chips.
Before the Florida sun takes its toll.
Before everyday driving starts leaving its mark.

We started with a paint correction to address the imperfections that can exist even on a vehicle with less than 50 miles. Transportation, handling and dealership prep can all leave their mark—and we're not sealing those imperfections underneath a coating or PPF.

Then came the part you shouldn't be able to see.

3M Pro Series Full Front Paint Protection Film.

Look closely at the photos.

Finding the PPF isn't easy—and that's intentional.

We extend and tuck edges wherever possible, wrap corners, carefully finish transitions and eliminate unnecessary exposed seams so the film becomes nearly indistinguishable from the paint underneath.

No “sticker” appearance.
No obvious borders around the panels.
Just clean, seamless protection.

That's how PPF should look.

Or better yet…

that's how PPF shouldn't look at all.

We finished the M340i with 3M CMIR NanoCeramic Tint all around for serious heat rejection and a much cleaner appearance, followed by our 10-Year Ceramic Coating over the complete vehicle.

The coating took that freshly corrected paint to another level—deep gloss, slick hydrophobic protection and much easier maintenance for years to come.

Less than 50 miles when it arrived.

And when it left?

The paint looked better. The vulnerable areas were protected. The cabin was cooler. And the PPF was nearly impossible to find.

Exactly how we want a brand-new car to begin its life.

Sometimes you don't need to change much to completely change the look. 🖤

This brand-new Infiniti QX80 already had everything going for it—big body, all black, and plenty of presence.

It just needed the finishing touch.

We treated every piece of glass with our top-of-the-line 3M Ceramic IR (CMIR) NanoCeramic window film—not just the front doors.

Front windows. Rear windows. Quarter glass. Rear glass. Every piece.

That gives the QX80 a much more complete, uniform appearance while delivering over 90% infrared heat rejection throughout the cabin—something you definitely appreciate in a large black SUV under the Florida sun. ☀️

Same GLE. Completely different attitude. 🖤

When this brand-new Mercedes GLE 53 AMG pulled into the shop, there was absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Beautiful SUV. Great spec. Plenty of performance.

There was just one problem…

It looked like every other white GLE around town.

That wasn't going to last long.

We stripped away the conservative look and gave this AMG a complete color transformation in 3M Satin Black—and it's hard to believe this is the same SUV.

The Satin Black gives the GLE a much more aggressive presence without trying too hard. It sharpens the body lines, works perfectly with the factory black accents and gives the AMG the darker, more purposeful look it should have had from the beginning.

But going from white to black leaves absolutely nowhere to hide when it comes to installation.

Every exposed edge matters.
Every corner matters.
Every transition matters.

We disassembled what was necessary, strategically placed inlays in difficult areas and tucked the material wherever possible so the original white doesn't distract from the transformation.

Because a color change should look like a color change—not a white vehicle wearing a wrap.

Once the transformation was complete, we protected the entire Satin Black finish with 3M Ceramic Coating, helping keep the wrap cleaner and easier to maintain while preserving that beautiful satin appearance.

The result is exactly what we wanted.

Nothing excessive. Nothing screaming for attention.

Just a brand-new AMG that suddenly has a whole lot more attitude.

From five feet away, everything looked fine.

But get a little closer…

This gorgeous black Corvette Z06 arrived with PPF already on the car. The problem wasn't simply that the coverage was minimal—the installation itself was impossible to ignore once you knew where to look.

The previous protection consisted of essentially the front bumper and mirrors, using pre-cut patterns that left corners exposed, edges visible, multiple unnecessary seams and sections that weren't properly aligned with the panels.

And that's the problem with PPF:

The film is supposed to protect the car—not become something you notice every time you look at it.

We removed the existing film and started from zero.

This time, the Z06 received 3M Pro Series PPF with significantly more meaningful coverage: full hood, full fenders, bumper, headlights, mirrors, A-pillars, additional pillars and rockers.

But adding more film wasn't the goal.

Making more protection LESS visible was.

Wherever possible, edges were extended and tucked. Corners were wrapped. Seams were minimized. Each panel was finished with one objective:

Stand next to the car and see a Corvette—not PPF.

While everything was apart, we also addressed another detail that had been bothering the overall look.

The hood and rear wing had previously been covered with carbon-fiber-look vinyl. We removed it and replaced those sections with Carbon Fiber PPF—giving us the carbon appearance we wanted while actually protecting the surfaces underneath.

Then came our favorite part.

The black paint. 🖤

After a proper paint correction, the finish absolutely came alive. What was already a beautiful Z06 developed that deep, wet-black appearance where the reflections become almost mirror-like across every body line.

Once the paint was where we wanted it, the entire Corvette was finished with a System X 10-Year Ceramic Coating.

And that's when everything came together.

The paint is deeper.
The carbon looks right.
The important areas have dramatically more protection.

Yet somehow…

you see LESS PPF than when it arrived.

That's the difference.

Great PPF isn't supposed to announce itself.

It's supposed to disappear.

🛡️ Invisible armor. The way it was supposed to be done.

And one important PSA for anyone considering PPF:

Don't just ask how much it costs. Ask how it's installed.

Ask what areas are actually covered. Ask where the seams will be. Ask whether edges and corners are wrapped. Look closely at previous installations.

Because the quality of the finished product isn't determined by the box the film came in.

It's determined by what happens when that film reaches the car.

Your regularly scheduled Cybertruck post has arrived. 😂

We tried to wait a few days.

We really did.

But when another brand-new Cybertruck leaves looking this good, what are we supposed to do… not post it? 🤷‍♂️

This one traded the factory stainless steel for High Gloss Nardo Gray Color PPF, and the combination is absolutely killer.

The color completely changes the truck, but it's the gloss that really makes this one. Deep, reflective, paint-like—and underneath that new look is full-body PPF protection against rock chips, scratches and everyday road abuse.

Looks like a color change. Protects like PPF.

Then we moved inside, where the Cybertruck continues its ongoing mission to have as much glass as physically possible. 😂

Our top-tier 98% IR heat-rejecting NanoCeramic film went on every piece of glass—including the windshield and panoramic roof to help fight the Florida heat.

Finally, the entire truck was ceramic coated for additional protection and easier maintenance.

Stainless steel came in.

Apparently we've made it our mission to eliminate stainless steel from Sarasota one Cybertruck at a time. 😂

And we're making pretty good progress.

The latest one to get the Fantastic Customs treatment went in a completely different direction with a Matte Pearl White Color PPF transformation, contrasted by Satin Black PPF pillars for a sharp two-tone finish.

The combination is SO good on the Cybertruck.

The pearl gives the white a ton of character as the lighting changes, while the Satin Black breaks up the massive body and emphasizes the truck's unmistakable shape.

But the best part is what's underneath the new look.

Because this is Color PPF, the transformation also provides real paint protection against rock chips, scratches, road debris and everyday wear.

A new color and PPF protection at the same time.

That's the best of both worlds.

We finished the build with our top-tier 98% IR heat-rejecting NanoCeramic window film across the complete vehicle—a must with this much glass in Florida—and ceramic coated the entire truck to protect the new finish and make maintenance easier.

Another Cybertruck?

Absolutely.

PSA: The film is only as good as the installation.

When you're protecting a brand-new McLaren 750S Spider approaching the half-million-dollar mark, “good enough” simply isn't good enough.

This incredible 750S came to us immediately after pickup with PPF already covering portions of the front end.

Unfortunately, we immediately saw why it needed to come off.

The previous installation used pre-cut patterns that left numerous visible seams, exposed corners and edges, areas already beginning to collect dirt, and sections where the patterns simply weren't aligned properly.

And the coverage itself was essentially the bare minimum—bumper, hood and fenders.

On a car this low, wide and aggressive, there are a lot more front-facing surfaces taking abuse from the road.

So we removed everything and started over.

This time, we went far beyond the basics.

Using 3M Pro Series Paint Protection Film, we protected virtually everything front-facing and high-impact—including the bumper, hood, fenders, headlights, exterior trim pieces, pillars, roofline and rockers, doors, mirrors erc.

And just as important as what we covered was how we covered it.

Edges tucked wherever possible.
Corners properly wrapped.
Panels aligned correctly.
No unnecessary exposed seams.

Our goal wasn't to make the PPF noticeable.

Our goal was to make it disappear.

While everything was apart, we also took the opportunity to refine the look of the McLaren itself. The hood trim pieces were painted High Gloss Black, tying them into the rest of the black accents and giving this white 750S an even cleaner black-and-white appearance.

A small detail—but on a car like this, small details make a massive difference.

Before sealing everything, we performed a paint correction to properly refine the finish, followed by our 10-Year Ceramic Coating across the vehicle for additional protection, incredible gloss and easier maintenance.

We also installed an exterior windshield protection layer, helping defend that expensive piece of glass against rock impacts and road debris.

Now walk around this McLaren and you're not staring at film patterns, exposed edges or seams.

You're staring at a 750S Spider. Exactly the way it should be.

That's what we mean by invisible armor.

And a little PSA for anyone purchasing a new vehicle and being offered PPF before delivery:

Ask what they're actually covering. Ask what film they're using. Ask how it's being installed. And look closely at the finished work.

Because “it has PPF” doesn't necessarily mean it's protected the way you think it is.

Especially on a vehicle at this level, doing it right the first time matters.

It didn't need to be replaced. It needed to be brought back. 🔥

A little TLC turned into a complete transformation. ✨

This Tesla Model Y came to us looking like it had seen some miles. The potential was still there—it just needed the right process to bring it back.

First up: the paint.

We performed a multi-stage paint correction, working panel by panel to eliminate imperfections and bring back an absolutely insane level of depth and gloss.

Once we had the finish where it belonged, it was time to make sure it stayed that way.

The complete front end received 3M Pro Series Paint Protection Film, creating virtually invisible armor against rock chips, road debris, and everyday wear.

Then we sealed the entire vehicle with our 10-Year Ceramic Coating, locking in that freshly corrected appearance while adding incredible hydrophobic properties and making future maintenance significantly easier.

Finally, we tinted the complete vehicle, including the windshield, adding serious heat rejection and the perfect finishing touch.

This wasn't about changing the Model Y into something it wasn't.

It was about making it look better than it has in years—and protecting it so it stays that way.

What came in needing some love... left looking like it just rolled off the showroom floor. 💎

Some Mercedes wear the three-pointed star. This one wears a tuxedo. 🖤

This Mercedes-Benz GLE came to us already looking elegant—but the owner wanted more contrast, more personality, and a look that wouldn't disappear into the crowd.

So we started Stage One of the transformation.

Using 3M High Gloss Black, we created a custom two-tone tuxedo look across the roof, pillars, rear wing, and mirrors, completely changing the profile of the GLE while keeping the finished design clean and sophisticated.

Then we started eliminating the chrome.

The window surrounds and roof rails received a complete chrome delete in High Gloss Black, allowing the upper half of the vehicle to flow together as one cohesive design rather than a collection of separate modifications.

Everything we wrapped was then protected with 3M Ceramic Coating, adding hydrophobic properties and making the new finish considerably easier to maintain.

We finished this round with our top-tier NanoCeramic window film on the doors, rejecting 98% of infrared heat while adding the perfect finishing touch to the darker upper section.

And we're not finished yet.

This GLE will be back in about a week for Stage Two of the chrome delete, where we'll address the remaining brightwork and take the exterior another step toward the clean, refined look we're after.

Sometimes the best builds don't happen all at once.

You make the right changes, step back, and keep refining until every detail works together.

This is what happens when you decide factory simply isn't enough. 🔥

This Tesla CyberBeast rolled in wearing the same raw stainless steel as thousands of others.

What rolled out: a completely different animal.

We went all-in with a full-body color change combining deep black with Satin Color-Shift Blue—a wild finish that moves between dark, sinister tones and rich metallic blue depending on the light and angle.

Pictures don't do this color justice.

Walk around the truck and it practically changes in front of you.

We then tinted the entire CyberBeast, including that massive windshield, adding serious heat rejection while completing the aggressive new look.

Finally, the entire vehicle was ceramic coated, helping preserve the new finish while adding slickness and easier maintenance.

Nothing about this transformation was meant to be subtle.
