Our latest arrival at Hot Rod Engineering is this beautiful ā€™69 Corvette 427 four-speed. It looks great, but underneath that shine is a list of problems left behind by an inexperienced shop.

A brand-new engine wasnā€™t broken in properly and is now damaged. Newly installed small-block springs were used on a big-block car. Add a long list of overlooked details and workmanship that needs correcting, and thereā€™s plenty for our team to tackle.

These customers deserved better the first time. Now weā€™re going to give this Corvette the attention, craftsmanship, and care it deservesā€”and bring it back to the glory it should have.

Got to hang out with my boys Cleetus, LS George, Mr Sam, Jackstand, Tye, and Zack yesterday at FL2K. Had an awesome time. Watched Mullet, Ruby, Lumberjack, Leroy, and Lt. Dan get the first round win. The body work on Mullet held up perfect after some pretty violent tire shake. Good luck guys for the rest of the event.
