🌷 Calvary Cemetery Spring Cleanup: Honor Our History
Do you have a few hours to help beautify a sacred landmark? Calvary Cemetery, the only Catholic cemetery in San Angelo, is in need of volunteers for our annual Spring Cleanup.
Established in the late 1800s, Calvary is a place of deep peace and storied history for our community. To ensure it remains a dignified resting place for our loved ones, we are looking for "Adopt-a-Highway" style assistance to tidy the grounds and prepare the landscape for the season.
Event Details
● Date: Saturday, April 25th
● Who: Volunteers of all ages are welcome! This is a great way for students to earn service hours or for families to serve together.
● What to Bring: Please bring work gloves, comfortable outdoor clothing, and a spirit of service.
How You Can Help
We are looking for individuals, families, and youth groups to assist with light outdoor duties:
● Debris Removal: Picking up fallen branches, leaves, and litter.
● Flower Maintenance: Removing withered seasonal decorations.
● General Tidying: Helping clear pathways and common areas.
