C2 front fenders and inner fender extensions installation, part 2 of 2.

Now we get into the part that makes the difference: where to mark, where to apply adhesive, and how to bring the panels together for a clean, lasting fit.

Steve also walks through our closeout panels and shows how they create that finished look under the hood. No screws. No shortcuts. We use high grade vinyl ester resin because quality fitment starts with quality materials, and we build these parts to stay clean, stable, and strong over time.

In case you only want to restore the front back of your C2, We've got you covered. This is mainly for cars that have been in accidents or just need a bit of the rear redone. The bottom of the floor is smooth with a class "A" finish. We use a vacuum infusion process to make this which gives you a lighter, stronger and more consistent product.

Today Zac and Greg are building reusable bags for vacuum infusion. We bring this technolgy in from Alan Harper Composites Ltd. out of the UK. Getting it here is a real pain but totally worth it! 1. It's better on the technicians health.
2. It's better on the enviroment.
3. It makes for a perfectly consistant thinkness throughout a part.
4. It takes less resin.
5. The parts are stronger becasue the more resing in a part the more brittle it is.
6. It takes 1/2 the amount of labor to make the part.
Taking on this technoloy is an investment but this has helped us maintain our costs. We haven't had to raise 1 single price in more than 6 years.

In this video, Steve walks through one of the most important parts of the installation process: knowing where to cut, why that cut matters, and how to prep each panel for the best possible fitment.

This is the step that separates “it fits” from “it fits right.” Taking the time here helps avoid frustration later and gives the whole front end a cleaner, more intentional finish.

This part was tooled from an original NOS part. GM part number 3908129 This part is meant for a 67 big block hood. We have a video showing fitment and how it's meant to go in the hood. This will not work for 65-66 big block hoods, as you'll see in the video.

Our grille oval was designed to fit a 1953-1957 Corvette. This Grille Oval will bolt on with hidden mechanical fasteners. Fasteners are included. The grille oval is tucked in tight to the body and slightly oversized for a more proportional look. The part can be painted, chrome plated, or finished any way you want. We have options for Fiberglass or Carbon Fiber depending on the look you would like. The weight of the Carbon Fiber part is 6.25 pounds. The pictures are of the Carbon Fiber part however the fiberglass ones are the exact same dimensions to ensure a proper fit.
