Happy Memorial Day and I wanted to take a moment to thank all of those in which have given up so very much so that the rest of us were able to have freedoms and better lives because of the sacrifices that others have given
Sadly many do not know what today is all about. So in simple terms Memorial Day (originally known as Decoration Day)[1] is a federal holiday in the United States for honoring and mourning the U.S. military personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces

A customer just was able to pick up this 2001 for a low price bike ran but has several issues. First found electric short in the ever so familiar rear fender where wiring left saggy loose caught the tire and shorted
We had to remove the rear fender and rewrite the rear section also installed the correct hold downs for wiring and found a used lay down license plate bracket up in the used parts
After this was addressed we found bike would run poor and would die hit and miss when it chose to. The ignition module was suspected by previous owner so once we were able to have it die we were able to check the pick up and module assembly. We replaced the ign module and pick up assembly and she is up and running without issues

Next we are planning on throwing it on the scope and old 4 gas machine to get a base line on the engine in several RPM ranges. Take some gas readings etc then we will go into the carb and adjust jetting as needed dial in the VOES and do a full tune up on her. The bike is running strong however by taking full reading on scope and 4 gas and comparing rpm ranges with heat and co2 readings I'm positive we can get her running tops. And squeeze a lot more power and torque out of her

Hoping for info on this truck. Last owner. Who started the build etc
This is a new project at anvil. Someone in sac area supposedly started the build it was on craigslist a few times from what I'm told. Someone used I'm thinkn a ford mercury or Lincoln rear air ride or possible the complete frame front and rear suspension not sure yet until we start in on it. The front end was made into a tilt style front end the lower fenders have been attached to the hood. It appears that this truck has had three different builders or sets of hands in it some work looks very good and was a really innovative idea and good start on the project. Other work is temp and some work is not so great. Regaurdless the start was a good idea. If anyone happens to know any info on the truck or who has done work on it or started the design on it I would appreciate any info. Would make things easier if I had more info on the air ride used. Year make model. The brake system etc

Doing some work for dark horse shaving side scoops. Doing metal work so all gaps are perfect. Engine build 351 c c6 trans build. 9inch locker with new 370 gears. Dakota digital dash. Painless wiring harness wilwood four wheel disc brakes. Lowered it. Cleaned up all bolt on metal hot lead and smoothed it out
