That’s a wrap from Hershey! ☔️🚐

The final day of America’s Largest RV Show came with some rain, but we didn’t let a little wet weather stop us! 😂

It’s been a busy few days filled with RVs, great conversations, new faces, and plenty of memories.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by to say hello and learn more about Wilder RV Resorts. We loved meeting you!

Now it’s time to dry out, pack it up, and head home. 😂

Day 4 at America’s Largest RV Show! 🚐☀️

Another busy day in Hershey! The showgrounds were packed today with RV lovers checking out the latest rigs, visiting vendors, grabbing some good food, and talking all things camping. We’ve loved meeting so many people and sharing a little bit about Wilder RV Resorts along the way!

Another beautiful and busy day here in Hershey! We’ve been meeting so many great people, checking out everything the show has to offer, and of course spreading the word about Wilder RV Resorts in Florida & Texas! 🌴

Labor Day Closure Announcement

In observance of Labor Day, our resort offices will be closed on Monday, September 7, so our team can enjoy the holiday with their families. Normal resort office hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8.

Hurricane Helene Update:

We're pleased to announce that all resort buildings, restrooms, showers, and the pool are open for use! We’re still working on restoring electricity to the homes and appreciate your patience during this time. Thank you for your understanding, and we’ll keep you updated as we make progress!

Great News!

We’re excited to share that the water is now on!

Also, if you are experiencing issues with flushing the toilet, please be aware that we have found a power outage at one of the lift stations. Our team is currently working on resolving this issue, and it should be fixed momentarily.

Again, thank you for your understanding, as we continue to restore services. We’ll keep you updated as we make progress!

Hurricane Helene Update:

We wanted to provide an important update following the installation of the new water treatment pumps. Upon installation, it was discovered that some buried electrical lines had corroded due to prolonged exposure to salt water and needed to be replaced for the pumps to function. Electric crews are currently working diligently to address this issue, and we’re optimistic about having water up and running this afternoon. Fingers crossed!

Teco, Hidmen, and Ace Electric are onsite, continuing their critical work to restore power to homes.

Hurricane Helene Update:

Great news!

The water treatment pumps have been delivered and are now loaded up on the crew’s truck, heading to the park. Our team has informed me that the pumps will be in the water tonight!

This is a big step towards restoring water service to the people of the park. We want to thank you again for your patience and support during this time!

Hurricane Helene Update:

We’re pleased to share that approximately 50% of the resort’s power has been restored! Teco and Hidmen Electric will be back tomorrow to continue their important work, and we’re excited to welcome Ace Electric to join our restoration efforts. Please be aware that these crews will be working through the park one street at a time, so we appreciate your patience as they progress. Some repairs may take additional time as parts may need to be ordered.

The pump for the water treatment plant is also on track to arrive tomorrow, with a dedicated crew ready to handle repairs.

🌪️ Hurricane Helene Update 🌪️

First and foremost, we want to assure our guests that the dedicated teams from TECO and Hidman Electric are onsite and actively working to restore electricity. Water pump motors have been ordered for the wastewater treatment and are on the way; unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to restore water service until the pumps arrive. In the meantime, several porta-johns and handwashing stations have been set up around the resort.

A huge thank you to our sister park, Rice Creek in Riverview, for generously offering their showers, laundry facilities, and pool for our community's use! Rice Creek is located at 10719 Rice Creek Drive, in Riverview.

We’d also like to express our gratitude to Hillsborough County for providing bottled water, and to Circle Restaurant and Salty Shamrock Bar & Grill for their generous donations of water, food and cleaning supplies. A heartfelt thank you as well to the many volunteers and service personnel assisting our community during this time!

We apologize for the lack of communication via this page, but now that our corporate office has reopened and internet service has been restored, we will start providing regular updates right here. Thank you for your patience and support during this time! 💙
