That's one of the questions we use when teaching technicians at Car Guyz.

Because there's a big difference between saying a repair is technically finished and being confident enough to put someone you love behind the wheel.

That's the standard we want.

We're not interested in rushing cars out the door just to move on to the next ticket.

We want repairs completed correctly and vehicles returned to customers with confidence.

What failed?

How was it tested?

Is the repair urgent?

Are there other options?

A good mechanic shouldn't be bothered by those questions. We actually want our customers to understand what we're recommending and why.

There's something we wish more people understood about supporting a small business.
Car Guyz isn't a corporation with hundreds of locations.
It's Mike and four employees.
The money spent here helps put groceries on tables, pay mortgages, raise kids, and provide stability for real families right here in our community.
That's one of the reasons Mike cares so much about building Car Guyz the right way. He wants this business to provide for his own kids one day, but also to be a place where the people who work alongside him can build great lives for their families.

We're okay with that.
If you don't need a repair, Mike doesn't want to sell it to you. If something still has life left in it, we'll tell you. And if there's a more reasonable way to solve the problem, we'll talk through it with you.

It could be leaking oil reaching a hot engine component, an overheating brake, an electrical issue, or another problem that needs attention.
The important thing is not to guess or simply hope it goes away.
