Tinted Windows:
New York State's Vehicle and Traffic Law regulates the amount of light that can pass through a passenger vehicle's windows.

· Windshield and front side windows: Tints must allow at least 70% of light to pass through

· Rear windows: Tints can be any darkness if the vehicle has dual side mirrors that provide a clear view behind the vehicle. Otherwise, tints must allow at least 70% of light to pass through

· Reflective and metallic tints are prohibited on all windows
