🚨 Not Every Detail Is Just Dirt… Some Are a Whole Different Battle. 🦠

This wasn’t your average interior detail. Mold had spread throughout the interior, covering the dashboard, seats, and other surfaces, requiring extensive cleaning, sanitizing, and attention to detail.

Jobs like this take extra time, the right equipment, and the proper process. While we can dramatically improve the condition of a vehicle, mold is something that should never be ignored. The sooner it’s addressed, the better.

The transformation on this one was incredibly rewarding, and we’re proud to have helped give this vehicle a fresh start.

I’ve seen a lot of posts over the last few days about the smoke making its way into the U.S. While the haze and air quality are certainly frustrating, it’s important to remember that for many families in Canada, this isn’t just an inconvenience—it’s their reality.

People have lost homes. Communities have been forced to evacuate. Wildlife has been devastated. And countless firefighters and first responders have been risking everything to protect people they’ve never even met.

As a small business owner, I just wanted to take a moment to say that my thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by these wildfires. I can’t imagine what so many families are going through right now.

Let’s keep the people of Canada, the firefighters, emergency crews, and everyone working around the clock in our thoughts. I hope they get the rain they desperately need, and that those who have lost so much find strength in the days ahead.

Sometimes it’s worth remembering that what feels like a minor inconvenience to us is someone else’s unimaginable hardship.

A little different than my usual detail…

I don’t normally detail heavy equipment, but when a friend who’d drop everything to help me asks for a favor, saying “no” isn’t really an option.
Today I traded four wheels for tracks and gave the inside of this excavator the attention it deserved. Just because it’s a machine doesn’t mean it has to be filthy!
Thanks for trusting me with it. And who knows… maybe this won’t be the last piece of equipment that gets the Detmer Detailing treatment.
