Funny smells in your car? Air not really blowing out of the vents like it should?

It might be time to have your cabin air filter checked.

This vehicle came in with complaints of little to no airflow, and during inspection we found the cause—a rodent nest packed into the cabin filter. While this is an extreme case, even a moderately dirty filter can significantly restrict airflow through your system.

A clogged cabin air filter can:

Reduce airflow from your vents
Make your A/C system work harder
Lead to weak cooling performance
Cause musty or unpleasant odors inside the vehicle

With summer heat approaching, proper airflow is essential to keep your A/C system working efficiently and your vehicle comfortable.

If your air isn’t blowing like it used to, it may be something as simple as a filter replacement.

Stop by Fix It Rite Truck & Auto and we’ll make sure your vehicle is ready for the heat. 🔧

🚨 What That Dashboard Light Means

Ever had a light pop up on your dash and thought… “Uh oh 😅”? You’re not alone.

Those little symbols are your car’s way of talking to you—and ignoring them can turn a small issue into a BIG repair 💸

Here are some of the most common ones to watch for:
🔧 Check Engine – Could be minor… or serious. Don’t guess—get it checked.
🔋 Battery Warning – Your charging system may be failing.
🛢️ Oil Pressure – LOW OIL = BIG DAMAGE. Stop driving ASAP.
🛑 Brake Warning – Could mean low fluid or brake issues. Safety first.
🌡️ Coolant Temp – Engine overheating. Pull over before it gets worse.
⚠️ Tire Pressure – Low tires = poor handling + lower MPG.

👉 The sooner you catch it, the cheaper (and easier) it is to fix.

📍 If a light’s on and you’re not sure what it means, swing by Fix It Rite Truck & Auto—we’ve got you.

There’s a side of being a mechanic people don’t always see…

It’s not just turning wrenches — it’s solving puzzles.

Every bolt, gasket, and component has a place. And when an engine is torn down like this, it’s like dumping out a 1,000-piece puzzle with no picture on the box.

You’ve got to remember how everything fits, understand how it works together, and put it all back perfectly — or it won’t run right.

That’s the difference between just replacing parts and actually knowing your craft.

Mechanics aren’t just technicians…
We’re problem solvers 🧠🔧
