Our Story

I built my first bike in a small garage with no special tools and an old crusty manual missing pages. I didn’t have the internet or YouTube to show me the way, but I was determined to build that bike. I loved being in that garage. Sometimes I would even go when there was no work to do. When I finished that bike, I wrecked it and rebuilt it again, all in that garage. Constantly making trips all around to get parts, and borrow or use special tools. There had to be a better way… All my hard work in that garage pushed me to be a better mechanic and to seal the deal by putting my ass through school and becoming a certified Harley mechanic from MMI, working for dealerships, and ultimately opening Engine and Frame in Richmond VA. My love for the craft and desire to share that love also spawned the second half of Engine and Frame as Enf Community, a 501c3 nonprofit organization. EnF Community offers workshops and tool rentals, as well as community events so that you can learn how to work on your own machine and take pride in what you ride.
