Failed the Virginia learner’s permit test three times?

It can be tempting to wait, study a little more, or try another free practice test.

But once you’ve failed three times, Virginia requires this course as the next step before you can try again.

If you’re 18 or older, you can enroll directly in CDIC’s Three-Times-Failed Permit Course.
Online: $165 — get started without waiting for a classroom date.
In person: $130 — limited classes are offered each month.

Under 18? You’ll need to complete the required 30-hour Driver’s Ed course online and an in-person final test at one of our facilities first for $180.

And getting licensed is about more than passing a test.

We’ve heard the streets talking and for the next three weeks, we’re offering our vehicles for the DMV road test for just $160.

Few requirements:

- Proof of valid Virginia Learner’s permit
- You have to have a pre-filled CSMA-19
- Must be able to meet at a local DMV office
- Be at least 18+

Note: DM does accept walk-ins for road tests.
