Many of you saw our 1993 Dodge Ram, the copper and gold 2-tone with only 84k original miles. It waited on the corner of Lakeside and Brook Rd for the right buyer. And then Joe called from Long Island, NY. He was looking for a solid, older, but restored pickup in good condition, and he found this Ram (actually 150), predecessor of the Ram. Nicely restored, mechanically tuned up and sound, and carefully repainted by Classic Automotive and Paint, this truck looks and runs fine.

Joe flew in, bought the ‘93, and headed up the road to New York! Thank you Joe, and enjoy your truck.

For my friends in Virginia, there is an interesting book signing event in Williamsburg Sunday Oct 20 1-4pm. “My Dearest Bea” author compiled love letters from her grandparents (my uncle & aunt) while he was on the USS Midway in the 1950’s. Timeless love!

Wow!

Mercedes-Benz confirmed on Thursday that it recently sold the world's most expensive car. A very rare 1955 Mercedes-Benz SLR coupe that had been kept in the German automaker's collection was sold to a private owner for €135 million, the equivalent of $142 million. That price makes it the most expe...

Robert Brown needed a good reliable vehicle, and wanted a safe SUV for his growing family. He found this classic Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 with only 103k miles...incredibly low for a Jeep like this. Looks great and drives great! He organized his financing and bought it.

Great choice Robert! I owned one just like it as my personal vehicle for 5 years and totally enjoyed the way it drove around town, over the road and on more than a few off-road treks camping, hiking, biking, and even some years attending Camp Jeep national jamboree.

Enjoy your Jeep wherever your trails take you. Thank you for working with us at Car Castle, and Happy Motoring! Paul & Kathy

Tyrell Noel needed a pickup truck for work and his projects. He picked out a clean Ford F150 (with a remanufactured transmission we installed- that's a very good maintenance improvement ), took it for a test drive, and bought it. His Wonderful Grandma was there to help with wisdom and advice. Excellent choice Tyrell, both in this good-driving vehicle and having your delightful Grandma to help.

Congratulations, and we wish you the very best in your future endeavors! Paul & Kathy @ Car Castle RVA.

Tyler Stanley and his wife called to check on a 2003 Honda Civic 5 speed manual at Car Castle RVA. They drove 2 hours from South Boston to check it out, took it for a test drive, and bought it on the spot. (His truck had just blown a head gasket and he needed a vehicle to get back and forth to work and around town.) Our 5 speed manual with only 177k miles was just what he needed.

He told us a car like this was much cheaper in RVA than in his area and it was worth the drive, not to mention how great it was to get away to RVA. We got him 30 day tags, and organized his permanent tags, handling everything with DMV for him. They said their DMV was backed up 2 months getting an appointment. No problem, at Car Castle we can take care of it for you.

Congratulations Tyler! You enjoyed a road trip on a fine spring day, lunch at a favorite restaurant, and found an affordable and good car. Afternoon well-spent!

Thank you for choosing Car Castle RVA, and Happy Motoring. Paul & Kathy

Friends who drive by Car Castle recognize our 1994 Pink Toyota pickup truck. Many admired it, but Rhiannon Lawrence made it hers.

She checked it out, expertly drove the 5 speed manual with clutch, and bought it on the spot. Great choice Rhiannon! Enjoy your one-of-a-kind truck. Happy Motoring! Paul & Kathy @ Car Castle RVA

Father Adam Sexton came seeking a Soul...and he found just the right one @ Car Castle RVA! He checked it out, took it for a drive, got used to the "theft deterrent" 6 speed manual transmission (he's the one in his family who drives a manual transmission), and bought it.

Today he collected his Soul and drove away. Later he texted me "I love this car!"

Congratulations Father Adam! It's been a real pleasure getting to know you and St. Andrew's Orthodox Church in Ashland. Stop back in and we'll continue our story swaps. And enjoy your Kia. Paul & Kathy
