Les Schwab Tire Centers

It’s Toy Drive season! One of our favorite times of the year is back, and we’re ready to spread a little extra joy in our communities.

Les believed in taking care of our neighbors, and that’s what this tradition is all about. A new, unwrapped toy can go a long way in making the holidays brighter for a local family. 💛❤️

Les never thought of himself as a tire guy. He thought of himself as the guy who runs out to meet you. Seventy-five years later, that’s still the job.

Our hearts are with the Silver Rail Elementary school community in Bend Oregon, Les Schwab Tires’ hometown.

Through the new Les Schwab Foundation, we're committing $100,000 to support recovery following this tragedy.

Our commitment will support those closest to the tragedy, with $70,000 going directly to Silver Rail Elementary, its Silver Rail Elementary PTO, and other impacted schools Bend-La Pine Schools. The additional $30,000 will address community needs as they emerge, via trusted local nonprofits through the Oregon Community Foundation.

Taking care of people and our communities has been part of who we are for 75 years. We are here for our neighbors as they begin the long road to recovery.

Some flats are routine. Others become legend. We asked our teams to share the most unexpected things they’ve pulled from a tire, and the answers did not disappoint. Whatever ends up in yours, we’re ready for it.

Are EV tires actually more expensive? Short answer: not necessarily.

The tech inside EV tires isn't what drives up the price. The real culprit? Size and
performance. Many EVs come standard with larger 19-, 20-, or 21-inch wheels
fitted with high-performance tires. Performance tires of that size naturally cost
more, regardless of whether your vehicle is gas, hybrid, or electric.

You're the reason we do what we do. Thank you for letting us be a part of your story.

Mazama the tire bull has made it to Redmond 🐂 We're at the Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center through Sunday, August 2 — come ride Mazama, learn to throw a lasso, grab some free popcorn, and enter for your chance to win a set of four tires.

Les Schwab opened its first store in Prineville in 1952, about 20 miles from these fairgrounds. Central Oregon has been home ever since, so this one means a little more to us. We'll see you at the fair!
