I am often asked about the origin of the name Dad’s Garage, and I am happy to share its story. As a child, I spent a great deal of time in my father’s business , where I acquired valuable skills and lessons. I recall assisting with various tasks, asking questions, and being by my dad’s side. The most important lessons I learned from my father went beyond the technical aspects of diagnosing, repairing, and building custom vehicles; he also emphasized the importance of treating customers with respect and integrity. My father instilled in me the value of hard work, reliability, and a commitment to excellence. As I strive to build a reputation for exceptional service with Dad’s Garage in Richfield, I aim to follow in my father’s footsteps, just as he has done with Dixie 4 Wheel Drive

Customer called said he needed all his glow plugs replaced and wanted a quote. He agreed to the price even though repairs can be expensive. He brought in his truck to have the work done. I tested the glow plug circuit before starting repairs turns out all he needed was the glow plug relay. Customer is back on the road and saved a considerable amount of money. We might not be your Dad but we will look out for you as if we were.

Maintenance is important. Remember to have your fuel filter changed before you have troubles with the vehicle running. The one was running rough, stalling and sometime it wouldn’t start.
