Another day, another Mini Cooper getting some needed maintenance! This 2015 Countryman came in for a transmission service, but the owner also mentioned an oil drip and a check engine light. Our tech quickly got to work, scanning the car and finding some faults with the thermostat activation and a failing thermostat housing.
What do we recommend? A new thermostat, a fresh coolant service, and a retest to make sure everything's running perfectly.

At Bavarian Auto Haus, we've got you covered! We recently inspected a C280 with a check engine light and smoke coming from the engine. Turns out, the top of the valve cover was pretty soaked in oil, and it was dripping onto the exhaust manifold, causing that smoky situation. We also spotted a crack in the coolant reservoir.

To get this Mercedes running smoothly again, we're recommending a reseal of the valve cover and timing cover, plus an oil change. We also suggest replacing that leaky coolant reservoir.

Call today at 775-825-6511.
