Would you believe this quarter panel was repairs without replacing or repainting it?
This 2022 Volvo XC40 sideswiped a garage, leaving an insanely deep crease that traveled through multiple body lines in the rear quarter panel.
This repair required all hands on deck. The rear bumper, taillight, interior trim, and surrounding components had to be removed so we could gain the access needed to carefully work the metal back into its original shape. Even Tiago, who was completing one-on-one PDR training with us at the time, contributed to the repair.
At a conventional body shop, damage this severe would likely result in the quarter panel being cut off and replaced, followed by welding, bodywork, and repainting.
