Snippets of all my adventures! RN and DNP, FNP student
Pacific Northwest

My camera roll in the thousands 💁🏼‍♀️ I always say I’m gonna go through my photos but I feel like I never do 😂 but gosh it’s sure fun to relive the memories! Can’t wait to see what memories will come in my new adventure in eastern Oregon for the next month! I’m headed out tomorrow for my rural clinic rotation for NP school. I am so nervous because obviously starting with a new preceptor is nerve wracking, and I don’t know how I’m going to manage being away from my husband and my animals 😭 but I’m really excited to explore some new places in some of my (hopefully!!) free time!

Literally dreaming of going back to Mt. Rainier as soon as possible! Cant believe I have hardly explored much of the PNW living here my whole life. My goal over the next year is to check out new places in the PNW and get better at hiking and improve my stamina!! I was so proud after doing Skyline Loop. And what a beautiful hike it was, worth every second!! What are some of your can’t miss hikes in Oregon and Washington?

Some of my favorite spots I’ve ever been! Growing up in WA/OR and there’s still so much I have yet to see and explore! If it’s your first time in the PNW, here’s some spots I would recommend:
1. Wahclella Falls: very quick and pretty easy hike to one of the most rewarding waterfalls!
2. Blue Pool: also a moderate/easy hike to one of the most beautiful (but FREEZING) bodies of water in Oregon!
3. Crater Lake: I feel like this one is self explanatory- so much to see and explore, an absolutely gorgeous national park!
4. Roam Wolf Sanctuary: in Shelton, WA. Such a lovely crew who owns it and takes amazing care of surrendered wolves/ wolf hybrids! You can also tour the facility and hike with the wolves!
5. Multnomah Falls: brief walk or can hike the loop and check out one of the most famous waterfalls in Oregon! A beautiful stop “gateway to the gorge”!
6. Mt. Rainier: another must see national park. Hiked Skyline Loop and it was literally life changing. There’s so many hikes for variable skill levels, stunning views, cute wildlife, the list goes on!
7. Bagby Hot Springs: another spot I love, a short hike leads you to refillable hot tubs with spring water, public and or private tubs! They were recently renovated and hoping people take care of this beautiful spot.
What are some of your must see spots in the PNW I can add to my list?

Kind of embarrassing to post, but I feel like sometimes it’s nice to have a little reality check from time to time. If I’m being honest, I’ve not ridden as much this summer for multiple reasons including being insanely busy with grad school and nurse practitioner clinicals, but also some of the reasons listed in these slides!! Don’t get me wrong, I love my bike and riding so much. However I think it is also important to remember that desire and motivation ebbs and flows, and I’m of the mindset that it is not good to force something when you’re less likely to have fun when it’s a hobby you usually enjoy more. I’ve been really enjoying spending more time hiking and outdoors this summer as well as making new friends and have been going horseback riding which I also really love so much and am lucky to have friends who have let me ride hers this summer too. It’s hard to prioritize everything and still stay sane 🥺💀 so hopefully some of these resonate with you fellow biker girls, and if so please share with me! It always means a lot when I get positive feedback on my posts 🫶🏻

Perfect September day in Mount Rainier National Park with Biker Nurse 🌄
We hiked Skyline Loop trail. Absolutely breathtaking! I can’t wait to come back. Definitely glad I came prepared with lots of layers because the variable mountain weather is no joke!!
