🔥 RAINS COUNTY BURN BAN LIFTED 🔥

The Rains County burn ban has been lifted, effective immediately today, October 6, 2026.

While the ban is lifted, the risk of grass fires is still present. Emory Fire Department reminds everyone to use caution when burning:

✅ Burn only when weather conditions are suitable and winds are light.
✅ Keep water, a hose, and hand tools nearby.
✅ Clear the area around your burn pile.
✅ Never leave a fire unattended.
✅ Completely extinguish all flames, coals, and embers before leaving.
✅ Continue following all state and local burning requirements.

Please burn responsibly and help us keep our community safe! 🚒
