We are looking for a Automotive Technician to join our team as we continue to grow. We have been growing consistently for 11 years have a great reputation for quality work and always have a parking lot full of work ready to go.
We generally pay a great hourly wage plus a flat rate incentive on top. We are also open to negotiate a pay strategy that fits your needs. We work Monday-Friday, vacation and holidays are paid and we have a year end bonus and pay toward health insurance. We want you to make the most money possible here at Griff's.
We consistently update shop equipment and diagnostic tools to make your working life easier. Recently we replaced several two post hoists with new high lift BendPak hoists and added another new hoist to the shop. We now have 5 two posts, 2 drive-on hoists and flat areas to work. We have a laptop for each technician, access to service information through Shopkey (Mitchell) and Identifix. We use digital ROs and dispatching to reduce the paper mess.
We have a great group of long-term people working here and it's a fun and supportive work environment. We try and keep the shop clean and organized. There is no dealer drama, gravy stealing, or service advisors playing favorites. We work together to solve difficult problems and lend a hand whenever we can.
You'll be responsible for mechanical and electrical/electronic diagnostics and regular vehicle repair and maintenance. We do all work: engine replacements, exhaust work, tires, maintenance, etc. We are a true full service shop. You'll have to be physically capable of the challenges associated with the job. We do, however, use power equipment to lessen the physical strain wherever possible.
