The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum joins the motorcycle community in mourning the loss of Kendall Johnson, a visionary builder, craftsman, and lifelong rider whose impact on the custom motorcycle world will not be forgotten.
Through Kendall Johnson Customs, Kendall earned a reputation for creating motorcycles that were as beautiful as they were powerful. His builds blended engineering excellence with artistic vision, resulting in machines that were instantly recognizable and deeply personal to those who rode them. Going as far as being featured in media across the world including Discovery's Biker Build Off.
For Kendall, motorcycles were never simply a profession. They were his passion, his lifestyle, and his calling. Countless hours were spent in his workshop refining designs, solving challenges, and bringing unique visions to life. His dedication to craftsmanship and innovation earned the respect of riders, builders, and enthusiasts throughout the motorcycle community.
Beyond his remarkable talent, Kendall was known for his willingness to share his knowledge and encourage the next generation of builders. He understood that motorcycles are more than machines; they represent freedom, creativity, and the bonds that unite riders across generations.
