I have a considerable amount of pride in the facility, the name and the legacy. 1978 Trans AM no start pt2. Tank fuel flow checked OK, fuel pump will pull a vacuum and will produce pressure. Found a stuck float needle in the carb. It's time for a carburetor over haul. Tony's knows old cars. A 1978 TRANS AM is in the shop. A cranking no start condition, Does the fuel pump draw a vacuum? Does the fuel tank have fuel flow to the pump? Tony's knows battery cables! You need a good clean connection to your battery, to reliably start your engine. Loose cables cause problems. At every "oil change" we check your battery's state of charge, the charging system volts and cable condition. Dirty or loose cables can cause a "NO START" or make electronic module's act goofy.
