Summer is here, duh!
So, with that said, most locals know what that means at Elite? It means we close the doors to the heat. No, that doesn't mean we lock ourselves in with the A/C on, it means we jump ship for a few months while the temps soar!
Have you ever tried to paint a car when it's 110 degrees? How about standing outside writing an estimate for 10 minutes as we document everything? If you have, then you know it's NOT a good thing!
If you want quality work, it must be done in a quality environment, NOT a hostile one, as anyone would agree, and we at Elite couldn't agree more.
We're so sorry to have missed any opportunity to serve our community, during this long break, and if it's an emergency please read the shop front door for my personal phone number, and we will make every effort to get you back on the road ASAP.

See, if we still were able to keep fuel at 50 cents a gallon, and minimum wage was still $3.65 (like when I started working) no one would want to cross our boarders. Plan A, failed.

So, I'm standing on a balcony in Coronado Bay the other night listening to the military training (the aircraft coming and going) then a thought comes to me, or kind of prophecy of sorts.
Why are we still spending time and resources on training soldiers, using things with wheels and wings??
I said to myself "the next world war will start and end on a keyboard", and the very next day, my stepdaughter called from Chicago telling us how the planes were grounded, and some other bank activity was killed by a cyber ordeal!!!!!!!! That was a real eye opener, imagine if you couldn't get access to your bank funds, or vendors couldn't accept credit cards, or worse (almost), what if all of our power grids were shut down and e-commerce halted altogether?? by some cyber "bully"? That thing that happened the other day way a friendly glitch, or was it a friendly reminder, we need to get back to basics and quit huddling around technology, thinking it will solve or, resolve anything, gang!

Let's keep praying this doesn't come to pass in any history book, or e-book as it were (;

Sorry for sounding negative in any way, or focusing on doubt and fear, that's not my calling by no means, the thought just presented itself (;
