⚠️ Would you know to look for this? ⚠️

This truck was previously repaired at another repair facility.

No teardown was needed to find this. No panels had to be removed. This was visible during an inspection—you just have to know where to look.

What you’re seeing is corrosion in areas involved in a previous repair.

Bare or inadequately protected steel is vulnerable to moisture, oxygen, road salt, dirt, and humidity. Once corrosion begins, it doesn’t simply stay looking like a little surface rust.

If it’s allowed to continue, rust can:

• Spread underneath coatings and into surrounding areas
• Cause metal to pit, thin, and eventually develop holes
• Weaken panels, seams, weld areas, and attachment points
• Lead to much more extensive—and expensive—repairs later
• Shorten the life of an otherwise repairable vehicle

Most customers pick up their vehicle, look at the paint and bodywork, and assume everything was repaired properly. And honestly… why wouldn’t you?

A proper repair is about much more than making a vehicle look good when it leaves the shop.
