The "Gray Ghost" is the latest completed project. It's a 1952 GMC that rides on Rocket Racing Wheels 18" Gray Fuel wheels wrapped with BFGoodrich Tires Advantage T/A Radials. These are attached to a modified 1952 GMC chassis with a Speedway Motors Bolt in Mustang II front end for 47-54 gm trucks. It has '82-'88 High Flow T-bird power rack for steering, also from Speedway Motors. Sitting over the Mustang II FE is a Chevrolet GEN II LT1 with electronic fuel injection. Fuel is supplied by a Tanks Inc UT-N series universal pickup tank. The LT1's power is supplied to a 12 bolt rear axle by an early style 4L60E four speed automatic transmission. The PCM is connected to engine electronic controls by a Current Performance Wiring stand alone harness. Inside is a custom interior by Murray's Trim Shop with a custom steel dash built in house by Old Way Rods. Carving up the roads is achieved with a Grant Products International Classic Nostalgia wooden steering wheel. Transmission shifting is indicated by a Lokar horizontal shift indicator. Speed and engine is monitored with a New Vintage USA Woodward series GM Truck Package. Cab is cooled by an Old Air Products Hurricane Electronic Switching A/C system. Bed is floored with a Smokey Road Rod Shop Advantage Aluminum flooring system.
