Another electrical upgrade from Canyon Ridge!

After multiple issues with the power cord reel in multiple different cities the customer traveled to, they were ready for a more dependable solution.

We bypassed the troublesome reel and harness and installed a new direct shore-power connection. No more fighting with the reel when they arrive at their next destination—just plug in and have power.

Sometimes the best repair isn’t fixing the same problem again. It’s finding a better solution.

Another A/C Soft Start installed by Canyon Ridge!

If you’ve ever had trouble running your RV air conditioner on a generator or limited shore power, a soft start can make a BIG difference.

Adding a soft start to your RV A/C can:

• Reduce the heavy startup surge when the compressor kicks on
• Make it easier to run your A/C from a properly sized generator
• Reduce voltage drop and electrical strain during startup
• Help provide smoother, quieter compressor starts

We recently replaced the slide-out seals on this RV to help prevent water intrusion and protect it from costly water damage.

Slide seals take a beating from the sun, weather, and normal use. Once they become cracked, torn, flattened, or brittle, water can start finding its way inside. Replacing worn seals before they completely fail can save you from a much bigger repair down the road.

And yes… we know we haven’t been posting much lately! 😅

It’s definitely not because we haven’t had any work. It’s actually the opposite — we’ve been too busy working on RVs and trailers to keep up with Facebook!

We appreciate everyone who continues to call, recommend us, and trust us with their RVs and trailers. We may be a little quiet on Facebook, but the tools definitely haven’t been quiet!

Your poor RV A/C is up there fighting for its LIFE trying to breathe through coils packed full of dirt, dust, cotton, bugs, and whatever else the Texas panhandle has thrown at it.

You wouldn’t run a marathon breathing through a dirty sock… don’t make your A/C do it either. 😂

GET. THAT. A/C. SERVICED.

Clean coils = better airflow, colder air, less strain, and a much happier A/C.

This RV needed a third A/C, so we removed the existing roof vent and installed a new rooftop A/C in its place. We also gave the new unit its own dedicated power supply, allowing all three A/C units to run at the same time without overloading the RV’s existing system.

If your RV just can’t keep up with the summer heat, adding an additional A/C may be the solution.

When your RV A/C starts making noise or losing airflow, don’t ignore it.

This blower motor had lost all of the bearing grease, causing the bearings to fail. The result was excessive noise, poor airflow, and a system that couldn’t keep up with the Texas heat.

We replaced the failed blower motor, installed a new blower wheel, and got this A/C back to operating properly.

If your RV A/C is noisy, vibrating, or just isn’t moving the air it should, it may be time for a professional diagnosis before a small problem turns into a complete breakdown.
