Very disappointing experience.

We got an online quote for a vehicle that they would not honor stating technical issues with the quote. This is a known issue that they have been aware of for some time but have yet to address it.

Their disclaimer on their web site states that, and I quote: "All vehicle pricing shown is assumed to be correct and accurate" and yet they would not honor it.

Do not trust any quote you get online. They are able to ignore it and not honor what their system quotes you for the price. I would not trust anything you see online.
refund request for service order of 11/13/2020 - ref Gilbert Ortiz -- I have made multiple attempts to request a refund of this servuice order, but you are not returning my calls. Every time I call I am told to speak to a different person, and that person is never in the office. I have left multiple messages which are not returned.
I attempted to reverse the credit card charge but your Elizabeth Hernandez claim there has been no attempt by me to cancel the service order, which is a lie, and my attempt was rejected.

If you do not respond to this message by January 10th 2021 I will be taking the matter to small claims court.

I am so disappointed that Universal Hyundai Orlando charges for sanitizing your car when you take it in for service. There people are the ones driving the car to the service bay and driving back to customers.They say it is a covid19 protection charge.REALLY!!!!
This Dealer is no good my Daughter bought a Nissan rogue sv 2018 and is a lemon.Universal Nissan refused to change the battery justa few month after purchased,Then refused to change tires after the asked my Daughter to buy extended Warranty.I have to spend more than $800 dollars in battery and new tires.

On 7/21/20 took the Nissan Rogue after it was check from another mechanic the front wheel bearing was broken i was recommended to change both and do wheel alignment. I took the car to Universal Nissan because we have extended warranty.They not only could not find the extended warranty but after they did i waited 3 hours in the shop so Jonathan come and tell they are unable to diagnostic the car.They gave me a rental and the next day they call to told they order the part only 1 wheel bearing because the also refused to change both and do wheel alignment it has been 3 1/2 days the cars is in the Nissan shop and it look that it will not be ready today either.Mr Jonathan services advisor and his manager are very nasty and rude.

It seen to me that what universal Hyundai sold my Daughter a Lemon car less than 2 years and all she got is problem after problem with the 2018 Nissan Rogue.I want Nissan to do something about it.
I was not pleased with my recent visit to your dealership. I had an oil change scheduled and it took two hours. They delivered my car an the attendant was not present for me to sign off on the work that was done. I waited about 15 minutes and no one showed up so I went to the service dept and told them I was just going to take my car. I was frustrated at this point and asked to speak with a manager. I waited about 10 more minutes and as I was about to take off in my car someone came and gaved me the paperwork. I am very dissapointed in the level of service I received. You do not run a business that way. I regret buying in the plan that including getting my oil change and tire rotated. I am just left with a bitter taste in my mouth.
Absolutely the worst experience with Universal Hyundai. Trying to cancel the GAP, Maintenance, and Road Hazard coverage. Jose in finance felt it was more important to answer his phone, work on other customers paperwork instead of providing customer service to the person sitting at his desk along with telling me there was NOTHING Universal Hyundai could do and that I had to call the bank that I financed through.

I left the dealership, called my bank and they said NO, since you financed through Universal Hyundai, they have to do it.

I then called the company that provides the coverage and they tell me they completed the transaction with Universal Hyundai back in April via electronic funds transfer and provided me a contact name back at the dealerships accounts payable department.

At the very least I would have expected for Jose to make some effort to solve the issue and he clearly doesn’t understand what the process is.

I had multiple poor customer service experiences with Universal Hyundai and it is EXACTLY why I did NOT purchase my new vehicle with them.

Disappointed yet again!
We bought a new Tucson over Memorial Day weekend. Although we finally ended up with a deal we could live with after 7 hours, I was unhappy with the experience. Both the Universal website and the television commercials state that you can get 0% financing, delayed first payment, $3500 cash for clunkers, AND a brand new 70 inch TV with ANY purchase. Well we got none of those! All of their advertising is deceptive, classic bait and switch . The 0% financing can NOT be combined with the cash for clunkers! Took us 3 hours to figure that out when we kept getting offers 6K over the Eprice on the website. The base price they use for those deals is over the MSRP, because they do things to the vehicle to jack up the price such as scotch guarding, exterior coating, pin stripe , which adds almost $2k to the base price. To get an overall price and payments we could live with we had to take a loan with financing, which was cheaper then using any of these offers they advertised ! I only got $500 for my clunker . When I asked after we signed the papers where my TV was they said I didn’t qualify , but they could sell me one for $500. WTF?? They totally lie in all their advertising. Also although most salesmen wore masks, I never saw them clean any of the tables or chairs in the lobby. The only thing they had going for them was a larger inventory than others we checked . Buyer beware !
An excellent service culture that you can feel the moment you meet the Universal team. Especially Pablo, Frankie and Rachel. I've purchased many cars in my life and what I experienced on one of the busiest days of the year was wonderful. I was impressed with their trust/integrity while going above and beyond the call of duty throughout the entire process.
When you purchase a vehicle from universal Hyundai. Be care full. They don’t keep their word. Example. I purchased a car they had to get. They were to deliver it to my house. Now they are getting a vehicle with a different vin# and expect me to go to the dealership and fill out new paperwork! Uh no. You can bring the vehicle an paperwork here like you said!

I received a call today and was told that no one ever said a part was being replaced. I AM SO FRUSTRATED. You were even told a part was being replaced and now it’s not? Please try to see what is going on. In a few months we are moving and it will require me to always take the highway to get to work and back home. It’s not like now where I can go around local. This is unacceptable. No one knows what they are doing. Hyundai needs to step up and replace this car!! The tech asked me to duplicate the issue again!! What happens if this time I’m not so lucky and get sacked on the road??? At what point is Hyundai going to say it’s not worth risking anyone’s life and replace this unsafe car. It’s unfair to ask a consumer to continue to do this and I bought a brand new car to be able to take it to Canada and back if I want too and I can’t even drive this car on the highway what good does this do for us?!! I am asking for someone to do something I have sent the videos over and over again every time someone asks for them. Hyundai needs to do something. I will continue to post this on social media until someone does something!!!

I cannot believe the horrible treatment we were given today when we took our Hyundai in to get an oil change. Besides taking over 1 1/2 hours even though we had an appointment they dented our corner of the door bc they locked the keys in and were trying to pry open the door. Good thing my husband was outside when this occurred and said what the heck are you doing. No one thought to ask us if we had another key which I did have in my purse. Who knows what other damage they would have done. What kind of people does Hyundai hire???? You would think this was the south bronx and our car was being ripped off!!!!! WE WILL NEVER EVER AGAIN BRING OUR CAR IN TO THIS UNPROFESSIONAL SO CALLED SERVICE CENTER FOR AN OIL CHANGE AGAIN!!!!! I want this sent to management, somebody has to be in charge of this circus!!!!
My wife recently purchased a new Kona from Universal. I was impressed with our salesperson, Anthony and the care and interest he showed us. After seeing commercials and ads
regarding the New 2020 Palisade, I returned to Universal to see Anthony and drove out with a brand new Palisade. We are now part of the Hyundai family!
