Today, we had the privilege of serving lunch from Lafa’s to the men and women of the City of Utica Fire Department.

More importantly, we had the chance to listen, connect and learn more about the work they do every day to keep our community safe.

100 BACKPACKS. 100 STUDENTS. ONE COMMUNITY SHOWING UP. 🎒❤️

Yesterday, NYE Toyota was proud to bring our community together for our annual Backpack Giveaway, helping 100 local students in grades K–12 head into the new school year ready to learn and ready to succeed.

But this day wasn’t about any one organization.

It was about what happens when a community works together.

NYE Toyota was honored to partner with The Salvation Army of Oneida , Oneida City School District , and to put backpacks into the hands of local students and support the families who call our community home.

To every organization, volunteer, family, and community member who helped make yesterday possible: thank you.

These are more than backpacks. They’re one small way of telling our kids:

Your community believes in you. We’re behind you. And we’re excited to see where you go next. ❤️

Mark Rossi, General Manager at NYE Ford (L), was proud to present Rick Rossi, owner of Oneida Barbershop (R), with a $500 donation in support of the shop’s 5th Annual FREE Back-to-School Haircut Giveaway. ✂️

Beginning August 25, Oneida Barbershop will once again open its chairs to local kids, providing free haircuts and helping them head back to school looking sharp, feeling confident, and ready for a great year.

We’re proud to support Rick and the Oneida Barbershop team as they continue a tradition that has already provided hundreds of free haircuts to children in our community.

Because sometimes making a difference starts with something as simple as a fresh haircut - and a community that shows up. ❤️
