Alright friends, let's talk full electric vehicles🔋🚗. This new world that brands are stepping into brings up plenty of questions, so I'm going to answer them!💁‍♀️

Q: Why drive an all-electric vehicle?
A: Quick answer: you can help the environment and they're FAST and FUN! I drive all of our vehicles to give honest feedback, and Toyota's EVs are BY FAR the most fun to drive. 🏃‍♀️💨

Q: Our state gets cold in winter. Will this impact my battery?
A: In your non-electric vehicle, the cold can impact your fuel economy, resulting in more fuel burned per mile. In a full electric, this means fewer miles per charge. Toyota is very aware of this concern and introduced it's battery pre-conditioning system! This warms your battery before driving or charging to help it perform more efficiently in cold weather! ❄️

Q: I don't want to be stuck somewhere for hours to charge. 🙄 How long does charging take?
A: Honesty, who is filling their car at the gas station from completely empty? NO ONE. So why do you think you would do the same in a full electric? You wouldn't! Yes, charging time varies depending on which level charger you use. Level 1 takes the longest and is just fine if you only take short trips. This is just your standard wall outlet. Level 2 is more powerful and is ideal for overnight charging. Most EV customers opt to have a level 2 charger or a 240V outlet installed. You can also find this level in public! Level 3 is the fastest and is only found in public charging stations. It can charge you from 10% battery to 80% in about 30 minutes! It will continue to charge up to 100% of course, but at a slower rate to help protect your battery life! 🔋👍

Everyone has questions and I'm here to help! Feel free to reach out to me at NYE TOYOTA 📍with your questions and I'll help you determine if EV is right for you! ✅️
