I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 🍇🕊️
John 15:5 📖
There’s just something about that first cool breeze of fall! The seasons are changing, the air feels lighter, and it’s a beautiful reminder that letting go doesn’t always mean losing something. Sometimes it’s exactly what we need to grow.
We put so much pressure on ourselves to have all the answers, make the right decisions, and somehow keep life moving in the right direction. Somewhere along the way, we forget that we were never meant to be the source of our own strength.
Look at how God designed a vine. The branches don’t have to figure out how to make fruit grow. Their strength comes from staying connected to what gives them life.
That’s exactly what Jesus wants for us. Not a life spent proving our worth, but one that bears fruit because we’re rooted in Him.
Sometimes He has to prune away the fear, guilt, bitterness, and things holding us back. It might not feel good in the moment, but pruning isn’t punishment. It’s preparation for something better!
Dearest Froends, don’t forget, just because you can’t see growth doesn’t mean God isn’t working. Roots grow where nobody sees, and some of the greatest fruit we produce is peace, patience, forgiveness, and freedom from our past. 🤲
Your hardest season doesn’t have to be your forever season! 🏔️
So as we enjoy this beautiful fall weather in the Ozarks, let’s quit carrying yesterday into tomorrow. Give it to God, stay close to Him, and trust what He’s doing in your life.
Stay connected to the Vine, trust the Gardener, and let the fruit come in His time!
Our prayer this week is that all who wander or find themselves lost will have the courage to seek His true and unwavering peace through the blood of Jesus Christ, our Savior. If you’re searching for that peace, we invite you to pray with us. He’s never too far away, and it’s never too late to turn to Him. 🦋
